Oceanfront Family/Group Villa: Scuba Dive, Snorkel, & Relax to Stunning Sunsets!

Welcome to North Star Villa a oceanfront property, literally on the doorsteps of the waves located in St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
This property is located on Cane Bay Rd, home of the famous “Cane Bay Dive Wall”, where the ocean floor turns into a steep cliff that drops more than 2 miles deep along the Puerto Rico Trench. It's perfect for seeing many species of fish, turtles, lobster, seahorses, maybe even the occasional dolphin or humpback whale!

The house has 4 fully air conditioned bedrooms, 4 baths, a private pool, deck, porch 40' and breathtaking view of Annaly Bay and Hams Bluff lighthouse to the west and full view of Cane Bay Beach to the east. Views of St. John and St. Thomas to the North. Serene, exclusive, tranquil and peaceful.

The entire villa floor is travertine stone tile, travertine medallions, and reclaimed mahogany/teak furniture which give the rich Caribbean complement along with modern amenities with a touch of Havana ceiling fans. Three bedrooms walk out directly to a 25 ft pool surrounded by a deck you can fish off of or simply lounge all day with the melody of the waves and the sea breeze.

The house boasts of a covered porch and a grill for outdoor dining, spacious 32' living/dining room area that seats 8.

The kitchen if fully equipped stainless steel appliances and 5 burner/air fryer oven stove; microwave & granite countertops and more.

Every evening you can enjoy the full view of the sunset. It's magical to just watch relaxed on lounges.
You will love our beach house, just as much as we love it!

Everything was great! Communication, from booking to during the visit, was prompt and helpful. We really appreciated Jonathan meeting us at the airport so we could follow him to the villa the first time. The grocery pick-up in advance made it so smooth for us to make dinner within hours of arriving. Accommodations were great, comfortable rooms and so many places to sit an enjoy the views. Kitchen has everything you need. The pool was chilly, a nice cool down when enjoying the sunshine (but too cold to really spend much time in during our wintertime visit). We enjoyed nearby zip-lining and Davis Beach (within Carambola Resort), as well as seeing other parts of the island. It should be noted that the waves are loud - most of our group needed earplugs for sleeping.

Great property for longer stay. Great central location to visit all parts of the island. Seperate rooms and bathrooms made it great for the group. Wonderful pool and ocean views to relax by.

Beautiful North Shore Property!

My family (2 parents and 2 teen/tween kids) had an excellent stay at Northstar Villa. The property is in an ideal location for water activities, great beaches, and near popular restaurants. The villa itself is great for families or couples traveling together, as there are 3 separate bedrooms, each with a bathroom and great views. Barby &Jonathan were excellent and attentive hosts. We truly enjoyes it!!attcomforvilla

Absolutely amazing!!!

My husband and I absolutely loved North Star Villa! Out of all the places we've stayed in St. Croix over the years, this property was by far the best. The view is breathtaking (from literally every single room in this house)! The hosts, Jona and Barbara, were incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and kind and the house has anything and everything you could possibly want or need. The property is quiet, peaceful, and private, and you couldnt ask for a better location. The snorkeling was amazing (we saw more right in front of the house than we did at Buck Island) and we even got to see whales one morning while we drank our coffee on the back patio! Honestly, we cannot say enough good things about this house, the property, and the owners!!

Perfection in Paradise

Spent Christmas at the property with our 3 adult children. The house was clean, well stocked and in a great location. Barbara and Jonathan went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. You could also not ask for a better location or hosts. Right on the water, close to amazing beaches and restaurants, this place has it all. A rental car is needed, but driving on the island was super simple. We can’t wait to go back!!

Beautiful property with gorgeous views

We enjoyed our stay at North Star. The Villa is beautiful with gorgeous views. The layout of the villa was great, plenty of room to relax indoors or outdoors. Each room has their own door/lock with bathroom. We stayed with 2 other couples and truly enjoyed being able to relax outside and cook each night. We were so pleased with our trip and Barby and Jona were amazing host. Definitely recommend this property !!

Amazing house, location and owners!

We really enjoyed this rental. First of all, Barbara and Johnathan, the owners, are amazing! They provided suggestions daily on places to go for entertainment or eating, fresh fruit and honey and great conversation! They were there if we needed anything! The house is great as well! Johnathan does an amazing job keeping the pool clean and daily trash service so we did not have to fool with it. The bedrooms are private with your own bathroom and amazing bedding. The kitchen is well stocked for anything you need and plenty of towels for beach/ pool use. The views are beautiful. It is a great place to rent and we will return. Thank you Barbara and Johnathan for a great stay!

Paradise on North Shore

This is our second time staying at Northstar Villa. The property is amazing. The only thing you hear is the sound of the waves and the pebbles rolling in the surf. Plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Great covered patio and open spaces for the folks that want to be in the sun. The owners are so helpful and kind. Jona brought us passion fruits and carambolas. Barbara had a beautiful bouquet of flowers to greet my mom and celebrate her 90th birthday. Being right on North Shore it’s an easy walk to Cane Bay to eat at The Landing, Off the Wall or Spratnet. Great location for some exercise and hiking up the beast, left on Scenic Drive and down to the north shore again (5.9 miles). Love, love, love this place.

Beyond excellent!!!!

Talk about luxury at it's finest. The web page does not do this property justice. The entire complex (and it is a complex- a true villa) has been remodeled with the most beautiful amenities. If you are a diver, this is your dream as it is located on one of the best dive sites in the world- North Str at Cane Bay. A few rocky pebbles of getting out there and you are on a completely unspoiled and untouched dive site with a wall that extends beyond 3500 feet. The small waves that come in from the north will lull you to sleep every night. No restaurant on the Island has a better view. There are multiple decks, an ample sized swimming pool and each bedroom has it's own en suite bathroom/shower and is totally private from the other rooms and the house. The owners are fabulous, very hands on cleaning the pool every day and there in a snap if anything happens. Our Family will definitly be coming back to North Star!!!

Amazing place by the ocean.

The villa at Northstar is not just oceanfront....you are literally ON the ocean during your entire stay. The owners Barby and Jonathan made the booking process easy (questions were promptly answered) and they were very gracious and helpful during our stay as well. The villa was clean, nicely decorated and well supplied. If you are an experienced diver, there is great scuba diving directly from the property. The pool was cleaned everyday, the kitchen had everything you could want and then some. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. If you love the ocean this is the place for you.

Great family vacation at North Star

Our family had a wonderful week at North Star. The layout was perfect for three couples. The bedrooms, pool, kitchen, living areas are super. Outstanding views of the ocean from every room. Hosts are super responsive, informative, and kind. By the way, the location offers excellent snorkeling or SCUBA diving at the "Wall" directly in front of house. So glad we stayed at North Star and will definitely consider returning next year,

Oceanside Paradise

3 Restaurants are close by (< 5 min) The Landing, AMA & Off the Wall. Flyers at Salt River Marina is also a good choice (15-20 min drive). AMA is the only one that takes reservations and you will need them even for a party of two. Book in advance through Open Table.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home.

This house is perfect for a family or friends traveling together. Each room has a view of the ocean. The kitchen is large with all the equipment for gourmet meal preparation. The house is spacious and comfortable Being right on the beach was such a treat. The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return.

Great location beautiful views

Party of 6, 3 adult couples stayed for 12 days. Owners are absolutely amazing. Very quick responses and attentive. Location is perfect proximity to beaches. Beautiful views and sunsets. Pool and deck space was absolutely perfect! Beds and bedrooms were very comfortable! Such a relaxing stay, highly recommend!

If you were closer to the waves, you would be on a ship.

Northstar is one of the prettiest vistas on St. Croix. And Northstar Villa is right in the heart. A beautiful home, with an eye on detail. With each room having its own en-suite, this property is great for family’s and friends alike. The hosts were onsite, but not intrusive. And there to maintain this beautiful property. We will be back.

The owners live on site and it was great to have them close by for questions or concerns. They are very nice people who have done a wonderful job restoring a ruined property. It is directly on the beach with a nice pool with a large deck. The bedrooms are nice size with a bathroom in each one. It was just a great place to stay and we can not wait to have a chance to go back and stay again.

Incredible View

The location is ideal for sunsets and water views. You can hear the waves crashing on the shore from everywhere on the property. Rooms our spacious ideal for families or groups. Owners were very friendly and willing to help us with whatever we needed. We will definitely be back!
