Immerse yourself in beach life with a break in beautiful South Devon. At the Beach sits at one end of Slapton Sands, a three mile shingle beach that is dog fog friendly all year.
Located on the first floor, this apartment's large bay window in the living room benefits from views of both the Ley out to the left, and of the sea out to the right. So whether you're enjoying your morning, coffee in hand, or watching the sun set with a glass of something cold, you'll have lovely views to enjoy.
As soon as you breathe in the sea air, you'll feel instantly relaxed and you can feel the waves wash over your toes within minutes. Slapton Sands is a pretty Devon village with a café, pub and farm shop, where you can buy lots of local goodies to enjoy or take home to remind you of your time away. If you want to venture further afield, Dartmouth and Salcombe are both a short drive away.
Pets: 2 Pets permitted. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £25 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.

We have styed in a few apartments in the "At The beach" complex, and have always found them to be comfortable, well maintained and good value.
Luxury Coastal are a very good company to deal with, too, with excellent help and communication throughout.

Immaculate property in great location right on the beach. Well kitted out with everything needed for an easy relaxed holiday. Spoke to the on all manager as had a problem with Wi-Fi and immediately responded and all sorted. Would highly recommend! If I had anything at all negative to say the outside could have done with a sweep before we arrived but other than that it was brilliant. Thank you Luxury Coastal….very impressive!!!

Lovely views from comfortable apartment
Number 10 is a very comfortable apartment with nice views of Slapton Ley and the sea from the living room. It feels spacious except the kitchen is very short of storage space and the shower is cramped for anyone taller than average (but on the other hand the bath is huge). The cheerful Christmas tree was a lovely touch that we really appreciated. Overall it's a great apartment that is ideal for up to 4 people. We would happily return.

Great place to stay in a lovely part of South Devon
I chose this property becuase it was near some high quality Devon coastline, looked like a nice place to stay and wasn't too expensive
We were not dissappointed, a lovely place to stay in a nice little village right by the sea
We loved the local pub - serving gernous portions of delicious food - the fish and chips is locally caught is enough to even fill my huge appetite
The flat was clean and well apppointed, although weirdly did not have a frying pan
Beautiful walks can be had a short drive away on some very wild rugged coastline with some hidden gems of beaches
Dartmouth is the nearest big down which is also very pleasant
My one slight dissapointment was that the sea view was only visible through the side of the bay window and a house got in the way. If you want a proper sea view there are other apartments in the block which can provide it - but of course you'll have to pay more for them

Noisy neighbours
I have stated at this property previously, unfortunately on this occasion the people who were staying in number 16 at the beach (the property above) were extremely noisy, it wasn't just living noise, it was furniture being dragged about at all hours of the night along with what appeared to be over occupancy.
This was reported to the property manager as per the instructions from Luxury Coastal, however, the noise persisted to the extent that after repeated complaints we decided to cut our holiday short, it wasn’t the relaxing break we’d planned.
Its be a very poor experience At the Beach. Once a year I treat my elderly parent to a holiday, this week was their holiday,
The icing on the cake was when making a formal complaint to Luxury Costal about the noise on my return home, as per the instructions of the property manager, I was told I’d followed the wrong complaints process and they weren’t prepared to consider appropriate compensation.
So all around poor experience and wouldn't want anyone else to be exposed to this when they are on holiday.
Its simply ruined my parents holiday along with my memories of such a lovely place.
