Firstly the owners of the cottage were lovely and helped me on the first day find the location when

Firstly the owners of the cottage were lovely and helped me on the first day find the location when roads around the farm had road closure signs temporarily in place which confused me. The cottage is in its own garden despite there being other cottages on the farm and is completely private. Everything we needed for the weekend was provided including really helpful suggestions for things to do and places to eat locally. The property was very clean and everything worked perfectly well. Excellent shower! It was just what we needed. The only detail I found difficult was the sinks. Both kitchen and bathroom sinks are very tiny so a little awkward but this is because of available space but the property has been designed with considerable thought to provide so much in such a relatively small space.

Lovely peaceful and pretty setting.

Lovely peaceful and pretty setting. Comfortable accommodation and just right for 2. Kitchen is in need of a refresh but we enjoyed our stay and walks to the local town. Local OS maps were specially helpful. Be warned that you can't drive from Castle Acre back home through the ford, but its a lovely walk. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Admittedly the Frenchmans cottage is very snug, so if you are looking for acres of room this is not

Admittedly the Frenchmans cottage is very snug, so if you are looking for acres of room this is not for you, but we absolutely loved it and were made to feel extremely welcome. It was ideal for exploring Norfolk due to it's location, and offered a peaceful and cozy base to enjoy the evening, albeit a short drive to Swaffham for all your modern needs.

Unfortunately on our stay the weather was mostly rainy and wet , on sunny days this would be a very nice place. Very peaceful tranquil lovely surroundings, would like to come again in warmer weather, and the longer days.

Love the location ideal for local birdwatching which was perfect for our needs Titchwell, Welney wetlands and Cley all roughly bout 45 min drive away, cottage very small but manageable u just need to be tidy, owners very approachable and friendly, would use again if we were in the area

We've mostly gone camping until now so, by comparison, this cottage was luxury.

We've mostly gone camping until now so, by comparison, this cottage was luxury. I'm not sure how we'd have felt about it otherwise. It was fairly clean, as long as you didn't look behind or under the furniture (2 chunks of broken glass under the table was the worst thing). And it was good value for money but only because we'd used our Tesco Clubcard vouchers. It was tiny - our garage is bigger - but very cosy, with radiators everywhere. It's good that we were both on the slim side. Plenty of equipment as long as you didn't need to use the microwave, perched dangerously on top of the wall cupboard in the kitchen. The main reason we'd go back is the location and peace, really good.
