"The hotel is very clean and perfect for a short stay, particularly well located for anything happening at the university. Rooms are comfortable with everything you need. There was a university event going on the first night and from the first floor you could still hear quite a bit of noise, but it didn't go on past midnight. The cost is high for the hotel and that was without including breakfast so it was a bit pricey for what you are getting."

"House was good. Well laid out rooms, good space and well kitted out. Was exactly what we needed for a 40somethings friends weekend away. House is clean and decor is fine, although does look like someone has ram raided Dunelm and then scattergunned it all over. Quite a lot of peeling wallpaper and tired wall art. We enjoyed the stay and then the owner decided to try and scam us out of our deposit for a "broken chair". A chair which wasn't even there. Its in the advertised photos but we never saw...

"Very dirty bathroom, beds had miss match bedding & pillow cases on. No banister on the stairs, holes in the wall, lights not working, wardrobes were broken. Used the beds to sleep and left very early on to go grab showers elsewhere before starting our day "

"It has the sleeping in your mom's basement vibe. Location is excellent with stores, restaurants, pubs and University energy. Easy and safe walk to train stations and bus stops. Easy for ride shares to locate you. Staff is offsite but very responsive; they fixed issues within a day. I think they were the most attentive of any of my UK stays.
