"The lift was broken so the service lift was the only option. However the landing areas were 'behind the scenes' and poor quality. I did not much care for the long black hairs stuck to the walls of the shower from a previous guest. Clearly not a good cleaning regime. The shower has my pet hate. The shower controls are behind the door. You can't use them without being inside it and it is too small to avoid getting the inevitable blast of cold water that is living in the pipes before whatever...

"The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. The b&b had hostel vibes from the start. There were smashed windows, dirty bathrooms without locks, pubes on the toilet roll and bottles stashed behind the was hand...

"Clean hotel with a good location. Friendly staff. Only a couple small complaints. Handle on window was broken so couldn't open it so that led to a hot and unventilated room which wasn't the most pleasant. Also the bed had a mattress topper on it, which both me and my partner had aches and pains due to.. maybe just invest in new mattresses instead of trying to cover the issues. Only minor issues that for what we paid we can't complain really but just minor things would make a big difference!"

The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the city centre, making it easy to explore everything the city has to offer. The staff were incredibly attentive and communicative throughout our stay, with special thanks to the general manager who kept in touch before and after our visit, making us feel truly valued. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a short break or a city...
