"The place is a bit run down. I waited a bit after check in time for my room to be finished getting cleaned. When I went in the first thing I noticed was pretty sizable dorito crumbs on one of the counters. Puts into question how well everything else was cleaned. There was no microwave as advertised. The sheets were stained. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. The AC worked great! Very cold. The staff was friendly enough. It got the job done though I probably wouldn’t stay here again."

"The room was updated and clean and the staff very helpful. We slept in so didn't have breakfast. There was a plumbing issue with the sink but it resolved itself. Staff was apologetic and helpful nonetheless. Near the freeway and many places to eat nearby."

"All La Quintas are not created equal. However, this one was good-to-go. The rooms were nice. Staff was attentive. Laundry room and machines were clean and easy to use. Breakfast was sufficient to get your day going. If you want more, Denny's is located within the same lot. There are three (3) gas stations on each corner with attached convenience stores. Mexican eatery catercorner to the hotel. A Burger King just across the street. I would stay there again."

"The staff was very good and attentive. Helpful in getting our parking sorted. Some suggestions: water bottles in the fridge; table lamps or bedside sconces; water cups at the sinks. The bed was most excellent and gave me a very restful sleep. The linens were very nice. Smooth and cool. Inspite of the rowdiness and party atmosphere of the Gaslamp district, the property was very quiet. My wife and I did have a good time. Thank you!"

"At first after traveling it's not the usual check in that we are all accustomed to, but once tht was out of the way, I loved everything about this hotel. This was a solo trip for a tattoo and the location is prime. Other than the tattoo I've spent most my time on Coronado island because it's so close, but instead of paying thousands of dollars I paid hundreds. The parking is a little shady, but all n all love this place and I'll be back. This is my cheat code staying in san diego"
