"We loved the apartment- it felt like home away from home. The views of the ocean and surrounding mountains were breathtaking. We really loved the location- it was very quiet, we had access to a small grocery store right down the road, and were close to many of the top spots to visit on Skye. We also loved meeting our hosts Tricia and Neil, who were very kind, helpful, considerate and friendly. We will definitely be back! "

"Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree. The cottage is peaceful and clean, with modern fixtures, a full kitchen and incredible views. Billy and Helen were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive. "Apart from the potholes getting to the cottage it was great. We could see the Milky Way when the sky was clear! Would love to stay for an extended period of time if we manage to come again in the future."

Weather prevented us from spending as much time outdoors on Skye as we planned, but lighting a fire at the house, cooking a meal in the kitchen and curling up on the couch made for a lovely, cozy afternoon.
