Experience an unforgettable vacation on the Outer Banks at this charming, family-friendly home located just minutes from parks, incredible beaches, and downtown Kill Devil Hills. You'll also find a number of popular attractions nearby including the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Outer Banks Kayak Adventures, Lost Treasure Golf, and the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, all within 20 miles of your door. While there's plenty to keep you entertained right at home, you and your guests will also enjoy access to the seasonal Colington Harbour Community Outdoor Pool (with a refundable fee) overlooking the water on Colington Drive. Next to the pool, you'll find Colington Harbour Soundfront Park, featuring acres of sandy beaches, picnic tables shaded by large oak trees, and a playground. The soundfront beach offers a designated swimming area, a perfect, family-friendly retreat in the summer.

The home offers a bright, spacious, and very welcoming interior with a well-equipped, full kitchen at one end of the main-floor great room and an open living area at the other. Prepare your favorite dishes, dine shoulder-to-shoulder at the large breakfast bar, and then settle in to stream all your favorite TV channels using your own accounts. Downstairs, discover a fun-filled game room complete with air hockey, foosball, a game table, large sectional, and a TV.

Outdoors, this home offers a furnished upper deck for alfresco dining and a lower-level patio.

Additional features and amenities include a washer/dryer, gas grill, and central air-conditioning.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
Community pools are typically available for guest use Memorial Day through Labor Day and subject to close without notice.
The Colington Harbor Community Outdoor Pool is located at 1000 Colington Dr., Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948. Wristbands for pool access are available for purchase at the pool facility from 11 am to 7 pm. A maximum of eight guests are welcome.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The home was well furnished and we had everything we needed for a week long stay. Kitchen well stocked with all necessities for cooking. Very comfortable and great for families with children and dog friendly. Pool and park close by. Owners have given a lot of thought to creating a lovely home away from home. In an extremely safe neighborhood, a bit of a drive from the main road, but beautiful drive. Well located and no trouble getting to public beach accesses. There were a few cleaning issues on arrival, but the rental company offered to rectify. Well worth the value!

Nice place

The home was beautiful. More than enough room for all of us. Nice bonus with fenced yard for our little dog. Loved having pool nearby. Nice safe community. Only issue we had was killing a few large roaches. And the air flow on the air hockey table didnt work.

Nice stay in KDH

The house was clean when we arrived. I would recommend bringing bleach and running an empty cycle in the washer as it was a little stinky when we arrived. This wasnt a big deal but i wish I would have known before. The kitchen was well appointed with basics and included a keurig and traditional coffee pot. There were a couple washing machine pods, dishwasher tabs, rolls of toilet paper, and soap available which was nice. The house photos are very accurate. The house was large enough for our group to be very comfortable. All the bedrooms had comfortable mattresses that appeared to be fairly new. There is a fenced yard which was very nice for our small dog. All in, we were pleased with the house. The only downside to the trip was the distance of the house from the pool area and ocean. The pool is 1 mile from the house. The beach was about 4 miles away. We had planned to allow our older kids to walk to the pool and playground area but this wasn't able to happen. The "in neighborhood beach access" was actually a boat docking area into the sound. It definitely wasn't somewhere you would stay at to spend the day. These weren't huge issues to us but they did make the trip a little more difficult than we had planned. If you have smaller children, the park was very nice. The pool was fantastic and clean. Plenty of seating and we never felt crowded. There is a baby pool and a nice diving board area. We had a great experience using the Life Guard building public beach access. It is
