We truly like the location of this condo in Sugarbeach Resort, but it definitely needs some updating and repairs which were suppose to be done after our stay in spring 2022. They had to put in a new vault, because the previous one was causing concerns of not opening when we required keys, money, jewelry and return tickets to home. The fridge was not replaced as it was old and a shelf was ripped off and reported in spring. I finally went to the hardware store and got white duct tape and repaired it so could use it better. The fridge still needs a more modern look along with the lamps and lighting which has it own concerns. We returned one day to have our kitchen taken apart, management and two plumbers, had the cabinet and microwave taken out looking for a leak, which was unit 435 bathroom sink cracked and was emptying into unit 135 , through the walls of 335 and 235. The owners of unit 335 really need to update and do some major repairs, as more folks won’t be happy with this great location, but some disappointing items not kept up to todays standards. We probably won’t be staying here again, and we have heard from many other renters that they love Sugarbeach location, but are not happy with Vacasa and how they have put all the extra fees on the cost of their units. We are reviewing a number of owners renting their units, as well as other management agencies who don’t charge as much and have more modern units for rentals. We still love Sugarbeach and have been coming since 1988. But it is time to re-evaluate which units are better maintained.
