  • Summary:

    Some Maui trips are better with one excellent beach close by. This one-bedroom Sugar Beach Resort condo sleeps two in a beachfront Kihei setting, giving you easy access to the long sands of Sugar Beach for swimming, sunbathing, and evening walks. A patio or balcony gives you outdoor breathing room, while air conditioning, WiFi, a kitchen, and a private washer and dryer take care of the basics. Spend the afternoon at the shared pool and hot tub, then keep dinner casual at the shared grills. It is a smart choice for a couple that wants the beach within reach and the rest of the schedule wide open.



    The Space:

    The 613-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bath layout is designed for two guests with one bed. You will have air conditioning, WiFi, a kitchen, a private washer and dryer, and a patio or balcony. Keep the fridge stocked for breakfast, return after a saltwater swim, and settle in without the clutter of a larger space.



    Guest Access:

    Guests at Sugar Beach Resort enjoy access to the shared communal pool, hot tub, and BBQ grills right along the shore in Kihei. The building offers an elevator, disabled parking spot, and accessible-height features for easy access. Beach access and landscaped grounds with a garden round out the on-site amenities.



    The Neighborhood:

    Sugar Beach Resort is on a North Kihei shoreline that makes a simple beach day easy to repeat. Sugar Beach offers a long run of white sand for strolling, swimming, and watching the light soften late in the day. At the resort, the shared pool and hot tub offer a change from the ocean, and the grills give couples an easy option for dinner. Kihei's stores and dining are nearby when you want an outing, but this address keeps the beach at the center of the stay.



    Getting Around:

    Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

I was very pleased with my accommodations, it is an older property but had updated appliances and was very clean and hospitable. The view was fantastic and it was very affordable

It was nice

Great view, great walking beach. You can hear a bit of street noise, otherwise very very nice view! There is very limited shade, so just beware of that!

Maui Vacation

The condo is an adequate place to stay but not luxurious. It had everything we wanted from a full kitchen to pool access. The condo was in good shape and clean except for the bathroom shower which looked like it needed a good scrub. The location - to no fault of its own- is extremely windy but near many attractions.

Great convenient location

We stayed here for a week and the location is perfect for exploring everything on the island. The on-site restaurant Dina's is great and open late, and Maui Sites & Treasures was very convenient to rent beach chairs. Parking was easy as there were always open spots. The property itself has a great hot tub and easy access to a good beach. The apartment had everything we needed; the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. The internet was a little slow but we didn't need to use it much. Overall I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to be exploring Maui!

Enjoyed our stay - could be excellent with a couple changes

Very nice property. We enjoyed our time! This could be exceptional if three things were addressed. No cupboard space for a few groceries (too many pots and pans). The toilet ios difficult to flush, may need a new kit. Finally, the table and chairs cramp the easy comfortable feeling and flow of the rest of the unit. Thank you for a great stay.
