We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Sunset. Overall, the unit is as described. We enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms, a well-equipped full kitchen, and access to the pool. We appreciated the pool was heated so we could swim in the evening. Our family of 4 fit very comfortably with the Murphy bed, pull-out couch, and bed room. My only complaint is the pull out couch was very noisy and any slight movement made a lot of noise. The location in Kīhei was good. It's easy to access all areas of the island easily, and also close to many dining areas and grocery stores. The property manager was kind to share with us how easily we could view sea turtles at sunset a few minute walk away.The only issue we had this trip was the elevator outside our unit was broken during our stay. We had to use the elevator at the front of the building or 5 flight of stairs. While not generally an issue once we figured it out, getting there without knowing this and all our luggage was challenging. Check-in with the front desk is also challenging with the limited hours offered as we came in.

Great stay at Maui Sunset! The property is very well manicured and the unit is steps away from the pool and beach! Amazing sunsets each night could be seen from our lanai! The place is perfect for a couple or small family. We especially enjoyed the access to beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels.The only minor issue we had was a lack of hot water in the primary shower. It probably just needs the cartridge replaced. With a second full bathroom available, this wasn’t a problem. I’d definitely recommend Maui Sunset to others and would return when back in Maui

The room was well stocked with beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. There were some toiletries as well. It was overall comfortable but the room had a smell which lingered, and some of the bath towels were stained. The kitchen drawers were sticky with old food.

Beautiful condo. Accommodated our family of 5 well. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars of because of the ac in the master. It is set on a timer with 4hrs as the longest time. If you come from a cold climate and it’s too stuffy to sleep at night you wake up every 4hrs to reset the timer. By the end of the vacation I felt like I had been up with a newborn the entire vacation. It does have a window but it opens to the walkway and the condo is by the elevator so it’s not quiet.

Great place to stay and amazing view.

Our stay was great. The kids enjoyed the beach and the condo had everything we needed for beach and the stay. At one point we couldn't get into the condo because of the locks, but was able to call the friendly management group and got the assistance we needed.

First time to vrbo

This place was our first vrbo and they made it very easy and stress free. They provided detailed instructions and assistance. Check in process was a breeze. The security there was very friendly and helped us locate the entrance to our building and also gave us pointers about the area. We love the location. It is close to a lot of good places whether driving or walking. The place was how it was described. It was clean and spacious. We did not cook when we stayed but there are available pots and pans for cooking. We loved that there are 2 bathrooms for our family of five. Easy check out process as well.

Très belle propriété avec cuisine complète, l’accès à des BBQ extérieurs et a de l’équipement de plage. Accès à la plage, piscine, spa, mini golf, terrains de tennis et de jeux extérieurs sans quitter le complexe. Superbe balcon pour manger et relaxer. Stationnement en quantité suffisante! Recommande fortement!

Great Vacation

We had a great time in Maui and loved where we stayed at Sunset Maui. The condo was clean and welcoming. I loved that they had towels and chairs available to take to the beach as well as water gear. The location was great for what we wanted to do and we met several people around the pool. It was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Great Spot for a Family of 5

While the exterior of this property is dated, the interior was just as advertised. The space was clean and well-appointed including beach chairs, a cooler and snorkeling gear. The condo pool was wonderful and had a great view of the ocean. We also really enjoyed the view from the lanai. We would definitely visit again!

Great location - unit updated!

Had a wonderful time at Maui Sunset - our favorite place to stay while on Maui! The room A506 was clean and updated. While there were towels, chairs, snorkels and a cooler I was surprised there were no boogie boards like in other units we’ve stayed in. Not a complaint just an observation. Good time had by all!!
