Kihei Sands is waiting for you with NEW LOWERED RATES this winter from November - March 2026! Escape to Maui's whale season & tropical weather in no time - all with out stretching your budget.

One of the unparalleled advantages to our property is access to whale watching from the beautifully maintained grounds & patio. Humpback whales migrate from Alaska & arrive mid-November to give birth to their calves in the warm, protected waters of Maui. They delight our guests with spectacular shows before beginning their journey back to Alaska mid-March. We've lowered our prices so you can come to Maui when they do!

Bring the kids or another couple & stay with us in Condo B12! Everyone will stay COOL with whisper-quiet Mitsubishi split A/C in the living area & each bedroom. Ceiling fans throughout if you prefer having windows open for the fresh ocean air. In the living room, unwind in this cool & spacious room on the comfortable sectional sofa while streaming your favorite shows on our HD SmartTV.

Our well-appointed KITCHEN has a microwave, stove, refrigerator & dishwasher. Preparing meals at home is a great option after long days exploring or relaxing at the beach. You'll find oils & spices in the cabinets. Stocked with dishwasher tablets, dish soap, hand soap, a new sponge, trash can liners & paper towels to start your stay off right. Bring your favorite drip coffee grounds or pods from home to use in the duo coffeemaker.

The loft ENSUITE bathroom features a walk-in shower. The downstairs bathroom has a grab bar in the tub/shower combo, perfect for a long soak after hiking one of Maui's many trails. Each bathroom has a HAIR DRYER as well as three rolls of toilet paper & two bars of hand soap to get you started. You'll replenish as needed. Hair & bath products can be purchased on island or brought with you.

In the loft you'll enjoy a quiet, tranquil night’s sleep on a new KING mattress & quality sheets. Two twin beds located downstairs are perfect for kids. For a $50 fee, housekeeping will join them into a king bed with a conversion kit and bedding.

4 Tommy Bahama BEACH CHAIRS & an UMBRELLA, beach cooler & beach towels are provided in the condo for you. Take them on your beach excursions! We also provide boogie boards and pool noodles.

From our crystal-clear mosaic-tiled OCEANFRONT PATIO & POOL, you'll be just steps from the beach - clean, sandy, unpopulated & stretching for miles in either direction. You'll find plenty shade under the table or lawn umbrellas - perfect for reading that book you found in one of our two libraries.

You'll love the view from our patio early in the morning - perfect for chilling with your cup of joe (out by 7:00 am daily.) Start your day with a RELAXING beachfront walk, followed by stand-up paddle boarding in the serene waters of our incredible bay! Ask staff where to rent beach gear & toys. Our beautifully maintained lawn has plenty of chaise lounges & umbrellas just steps from the beach. Bring your airpods if the sound of the waves lapping the beach is just too soothing for your sensibilities! :-)

Watch BEAUTIFUL sunsets from our oceanfront patio with its two BBQ grills while grilling dinner & sipping tropical adult beverages. It's a great place to gather with family & friends. This is where you'll meet & talk story with other guests, some who have been coming here for decades. You'll soon find out why that is! Kihei Sands is a very special place.

This was, by far, the best place we’ve stayed at. Comfortable, clean, well stocked with necessities- all things you can enjoy at the places. What made this place really stand out was the location. Nice place to stay

Overall it was a nice place to stay. Plenty of dishware, towels, paper towels, etc... The AC was ok but struggled to keep up during the day. The beds were comfortable and the view is nice. The condo is a little dated and there's a thick layer of dust in some areas but it's right on the beach and a comparable price.

Like all the Kihei Sands units, it's super close to my favorite beach, and we could spend the day relaxing, on the beach, at the patio/pool, or in the condo. The locations close to so many things in Kihei making it so handy for shopping and dining. We could hear the waves in the condo and when we went to the beach we were often the only ones there! Beds were comfortable and everything we needed for the beach was provided. We even had a flight change and had to come a day early. Connie adjusted our reservation the day before so we had a place to stay when we got there. They are very accommodating and checkout was a breeze! We will definitely be back.

Good AC in both places A8 is 5 steps to the pool we used the BAR-B-Q's. They have a time to shut off the gas if you for get so super safe. Everything was super clean and had most everything you could need in the condos .they have a coin operated laundry there. We used it twice but ended going to the laundry mat down the street cuz we. Could wash all of are stuff at the same time and save waitting to do individual loads. We all would stay there again. It is mostly car dependent to get around but only a short 5-10 minute drive to food and activities.Great quiet place to stay with the pool and beach ft away.Very nice staff and will help with anything they can. The parking is a little tight but it's that way at all the resorts too. We had a minivan and it was fine.Great quiet place to stay and I would recommend it to a friend

We always love spending time on the patio however this time was marred by an older gentleman who works there who made it feel like we were in trouble every time we threw our water bottles in the patio recycle bin. We consumed the water on the patio but we were rudely confronted twice telling us the recycle bins were for patio use only...that's exactly what we were doing and after we told him he never apologized. He told us to keep our voices down in the morning because people were sleeping, we weren't being loud! Never had we experienced this kind of behavior before. We spent a llot of money to stay there and expect to feel welcomed. We didn't break any rules but were made to feel like it. Not great customer service. There are many places we can stay on the island so I expect better.

Perfect paradise retreat

The checkin process was seem-less and did not need to bother Patrick during the stay at all. We loved the welcome basket including the map! When we did the road to Hana, the map came into good use. All accessories in the condo were perfect for when we wanted to cook in. Best part of the condo was leaving the window open at night and hearing the waves crashing and lulling us to sleep. We were just steps away from the ocean and loved the option of all the toys that we could use on the beach and in the ocean. We would definitely stay again and highly suggest staying here!

Condo on the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 10 days here and enjoyed it very much. Our unit B12 was clean and comfortable with a kitchen that was very well stocked. We had a view of the beach from our little balcony.The unit was a little dated but still comfortable. Coffee was ready in the morning on the patio where guests sat and visited or took a walk on the beach. Barbeques were available for use anytime. The beach was beautiful and steps from the patio. It wasn't as busy as beaches further down S.Kihei Rd. where the public can park easily on the road or in a parking lot next to the beach. The location was in a quieter zone away from the strip malls and traffic congestion but close to the highway for driving to other tourist sites. It was a 10 min. drive to Safeway and malls on the highway or a few minutes longer on S.Kihei Road which runs parallel to the water. Connie and Patrick in the office were always available to answer questions and the grounds were well maintained. Check in was easy when we arrived at night. We would definitely return for another visit.

Perfect location with an incredible beach.

Would definitely stay here again. S few glitches with shower snd remote control lights. Tiny ants everywhere but it’s just part of the Hawaiian experience.

Beachfront Paradise

First, the property manager, Connie, is the best and easiest to work with. The condo was location was great for many reasons… steps away from a private less populated beach, great boogie boarding, Kihei was only a few minutes away, and Lahaina was only 35 minutes away. The split level upper unit was nice as our daughter and friend shared the lower bedroom (2-twin beds) and the upper queen had a nice 3/4 bath. Enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony watching the waves roll in. The pool/patio area was nice for catching rays, sharing a meal, or swimming in the pool. It’s definitely a perk for families with littles not ready for wave action. The condo staff had the room in tip top shape and the grounds were well kept every day! The people were some of the most friendly staff we’ve ever met traveling. Definitely looking forward to booking there for our next trip to the island.
