"Overall lovely hotel. We were unlucky with a room with a musky fishy smell which detracted from all the other lovely room features. I did notice some cobwebs in the room and a few patches of touch up white paint which didnt quite match which normally I would overlook. Staff lovely and room quiet. breakfast good and grounds wonderful. "

"Reception staff are always friendly & helpful. We have stayed at the Manor hotel a few times and the rooms have always been clean & comfortable . "

"We had a fantastic experience at the Copthorne Merry Hill. Our room was very comfortable with a waterside view and I was delighted to find the en-suite had a bath. The room had Tea and coffee making facilities + biscuits and a fridge containing water and 2 little bars of chocolate; delightful. The staff were really kind, efficient and helpful. "The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5. The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite. The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. "Really nice pub, convenient for Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills. Winter weekend break for us, nice big clean quiet room, comfy bed, plenty of space and large bathroom.
