"The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

At that time is when O found out its cash only do I had to find a bank to withdraw funds. You don't get a key, you're asked to take a photo of a paper with your room code on it. "Overall, okay. We were there for a concert. Tried to take a quick nap but had a staff member barge in the room without knocking (I think to clean carpets). Thankfully had the chain on but it startled me and there went the nap!"

"The Inn on Ferry is a quaint place located midtown Detroit. Excellent welcoming and service while we stayed. The building we stayed in (grey stone) is beginning to show some wear on the inside. Carpets would be a good thing to replace and fixtures (e.g reading light shades) need a little more modernizing. We would stay again without hesitation as it was quiet and still very clean."

"Check in and valet parking was easy. Room was spacious and clean. Separately living room and bedroom is a bonus. Good location for getting to most dining options or take the free Qline to go further out. 10 minute walk to Tigers BB or Lions FB and A short Qline ride to the Detroit Art Institute, which is great! Nice bar in the very large lobby. Shower/Tub was great and the bed was a little worn, but still comfortable. My only advise is to try to get an interior room that doesn’t face the street....

"Sarah provided exceptional hospitality, going out of her way to show us the amenities. Our room and the entire first floor of common areas were inviting, well-appointed, art-forward and yet commodious. Breakfast at Warda was “next level” and we appreciated having the vouchers for breakfast each day. Would recommend ALEO to anyone and would stay there again."

"What an unexpected surprise. We were going to see Lionel Richie at Little Caesars arena and wanted to stay overnight to enjoy the evening. The hotel is a short walk to the arena. The rooms were large, clean and had everything we needed. Parking in the parking lot is also available for a fee. Definitely a great place to stay."

"I was impressed that this was a self-serving boutique hotel however, if there isn’t gonna be any staff, I would suggest that they provide like some type of vending area for toiletries when no one is available for you know maybe extra towels and tissue things of that nature if you’re staying for an extended period of time other than that, the property was nice. I would do an audit of all the kitchen utensils to make sure that your guests have all the things if you’re gonna provide, you know like...

"I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Detroit. The staff for the most part was very friendly and reconciled any issues that we had. We did order room service and the food was amazing. The white fish dip is a must try! The gym was great as well. The hotel is right near the water so you get a great view. Walking distance from really good restaurants and the Riverwalk."

"This hotel was only convenient for attending the concert. The hallways were dirty, and the breakfast options were limited to bagels, pancakes, or bread. Dogs were allowed, but the doors had to be slammed when exiting the rooms, which disturbed my sleep. The exterior was littered with garbage, and the parking lot was in disarray. There were bugs crawling in the rooms, and the ceiling was leaking. They need some upgrades to their establishment. It also seems as they don’t have the staff to keep it...
