Rustic Lake View Cottage

Rustic studio cottage on Twin Lakes in Keystone Heights. Queen size bed. Nightly price includes up to 2 guests. Please, no smoking anywhere on the property.

The cottage is very cozy. It has a ROKU smart TV, DVD player, computer desk w/printer and Wi-Fi.

The cottage has a limited kitchen. There is no full stove or oven but there is an outdoor grill w/side burner, microwave, and coffee. There is also a mini-fridge w/ freezer. (If you are a chef and are coming to cook, you may be disappointed).

The place needs sprucing up. One of the side tables the glass is broke out. It needs a good paint job and some decorating. It was ok but probably won’t stay again.

disappointed

directions poor took two hours to find. absolutely no room to tow a boat or trailer to property. spent 20 minutes trying to turn truck and boat around. it was night when we came to property. It was not what I expected to find when I arrived. Address carries you to a park.

The address is not correct on listing had to message her she told me correct address she met at end of drive way i was not expecting that they live so close we did not arrive until 7 it was dark almost walked into boat propeller it was parked in the path way we had to walk threw she took us to the room we walked in and there were big palmetto bugs in there but the room did look clean we were going to walk down to the lake to sit and enjoy had to walk by their house dog started barking and would not stop felt very uncomfortable couldn’t enjoy lake. The listing needs to be more descriptive did not feel very private. Husband got up very early to go take his boat out which was parked right by the window where our heads were the garage is attached to room and opening and closing door is very loud at 430 in the morning we left around 530 am because we couldn't go back to sleep or enjoy lake.

Disappointment, but made the best!

Not at all what we expected based on the information given. No privacy, dog barking constantly, being locked out for 2 hours. And lastly, host being a total jerk about all of it.

Relaxing at the lake

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The owners were attentive to our needs. We loved the quietness and relaxation of fishing, kayaking and seeing the beauty. I think it would be a good idea to have certain instructions in the cottage. The instructions could include WiFi passwords, door code and/or how the owners would like the place to be left. I have seen this at other properties and it worked well.
