"Beautiful, cosy two bed cottage, there was a double room and a room with bunk beds (plus a sofa bed we didn't use). Beds were comfortable, decor was nice, the area is very quiet and was easy to find. We had everything we needed, the ground coffee and milk sachets was a great touch. We really enjoyed the terrace overlooking the canal, but it's worth mentioning the steps to the terrace are shallow and steep, so not easy to navigate if any mobility issues - though there is a hand rail and we...

"We spent 2 weeks in September, my husband and I and a further guest, who stayed for 10 days. We were very satisfied with the apartment, which was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely view of the countryside from the lounge. Buxton was in walking distance (15 minutes). The apartment was nice and warm and the kitchen was well stocked, which included a generous deep freeze compartment. What we also liked was the fact that there was a space to park the car off road. "The rooms were clean and adequate but dimly lit that I had to use my phone light sometimes to see what I needed. Telephone communication was abysmal. Several phone calls were met with voice mail, 20-25 minute wait and no answer, No return of messages. Constantly asking for communication through messages. I finally found a phone number on WhatsApp that I was able to connect.
