Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electric, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot available.. Parking permit for 1 car included. Visit England 4 Star. Please note: No children under 12 years old.. Perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat or those with older children and just 100 yards from the centre of the traditional market town of Keswick, 5 The Plosh is a traditional Lakeland cottage which was completely renovated and refurbished to provide good accommodation with modern, stylish furnishings to compliment the character of the cottage, with wood and slate floors, wood burner and spiral staircase. A very spacious, well equipped, kitchen/dining room and a shower room is situated on the lower ground floor, with a door to the outside. The living area is on the ground floor with patio doors to a balcony and the bedrooms and a second shower room are on the first floor. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Please note: There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property.

We have stayed in Keswick on a number of occasions, this was by far the most homely and comfortable

We have stayed in Keswick on a number of occasions, this was by far the most homely and comfortable stay. The kitchen located on the first floor is more than adequate and having the washing machine meant we hardly took any laundry home. 5 the plosh is ideally located on the edge of the town and lake is only a five minute walk. We are already looking to book again.

Wonderful location for Keswick and a great view! Spiral staircase up to the bedrooms caused a few issues (husband hit his head twice) but overall great stay. Obvious signs of damp/mould in upper bathroom and back bedroom but didn't cause us any problems. Bed really comfortable but suite in lounge not so much. Kitchen well equipped and very clean. This is our second time staying in this cottage.

This is our second time staying in this cottage. The location is perfect - right beside the town but private and not noisy. The cottage is warm and cosy with a spacious kitchen and balcony with views of the mountains. We had a lovely stay here. Highly recommended. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a fantastic stay at 5 The Plosh. A minute away from the town centre so really convenient for eating out. The house and furniture are very contemporary with a well equipped kitchen for the times we stayed in. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been logs for the woodburner - they are not included and we didn’t know where to buy them. it was snowy during our stay and a fire at the end of the day would have been welcome. Definitely recommend this house.

Lovely cottage over 3 floors. Clean and well equipped. In ideal location within walking distance of the centre of keswick. The only downside was the noise of the traffic at times during the evening.
