"This is an aged property but they have done a great job keeping it clean. The bathrooms are remodeled with very good water pressure, sufficient space. Room is spacious for 2 of us with beautiful river view in Room 7. Daily cook to order breakfast is included in the room is a plus. The food here is delicious from breakfast to dinner. We had Easter Sunday lunch here unfortunately this wasn’t as good as the regular dinner. I assume it’s because of the large quantity of food the kitchen has to cook...

"I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the last year and found it to be very comfortable, peaceful, scenic, with lovely staff and good food and also a conveniently close distance to the M4. Generally the accommodation is of a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. I was disappointed on my last visit however, to find that my booked suite had been 'upgraded'. "Great location less than a mile away from the M5 and off the main road. Wonderful guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy. We decided to go into nearby Thornbury to grab something to eat. The bed was really comfy and we had our buffet breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel which kept us full for the drive home."
