" Nothing fancy, but it did the job. There were a few bugs (nothing crazy) and the walls were very thin, but the room was basically clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and I got to check in early at no extra charge. The price is great though: would recommend for the mid-picky traveler who wants to avoid the SF hostels. "

"The walls were paper thin, I could hear people speaking in the next room. Very noisy. No TV service on regular channels - you had to have had a streaming service account. At check out, you had to take your own garbage/ recycling outside to the bins in the backyard."

"A great, small apartment with excellent views. The neighbors are however a bit nosy."

"Overall a great place to stay. It was very clean and the bad was very comfortable. Having a private bathroom is a luxury. My only dislike was the paper thin door which didn't block out any sounds in or out. "

"I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. I felt safe. It was loud but not unbearable. A car horn and siren woke me up. The windows are right by the street. No real complaints. The stairs kinda shocked us. To afraid to ride the old school elevator. Would stay again my husband wouldn’t. "

"I stayed here for a week to visit my brother. It was perfect walking distance and i did a lot more walking in San Francisco than i do at home! I wasn't at the hotel much during the day but it was quiet at night and i slept good! I had a small fan because I'm hot natured and that helped. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again. Thank you!"

"This cute little cottage is right in the middle of town and near everything you may need- coffee and pastries directly across the street, walking distance from the beach, post office, shops, and other houses people are staying in (we were meeting up with family). It’s quiet and set back, with a gate to close so you have your own little spot away from everything as well. Two rooms with queen beds, lots of windows to open, fruit trees all around and a deck to sit on in the morning when you have...

"The location was perfect—just a short walk to tons of great restaurants and bars. The rooms were super cool, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved staying here and would definitely come back. Thank you!"

"We enjoyed our one night stay here at the Marina Motel. Our exact room was right on Lombard St. which is HWY 101 so expect a lot of noise. Even though there were lots of noise, we enjoyed the stay. The room is very small so I would caution staying anymore than a couple nights, especially if you have older kids or more than 2 adults. I'd advise this room to anyone that will not plan on being indoors. The location is great however. It's a short walking distance to The Palace of Fine Arts and many...

"Great place to stay in San Francisco with easy on street parking, grocery stores and great restaurants within walking distance. Close to public transportation. Home itself is very clean and updated with everything you need for a home away from home. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again! "

"Absolutely perfect accommodations and location. I felt right at home and very safe. Such a quiet street but close to so many amenities. Perfect location for wonderful walks and hikes and so easy to get to place in S.F. easily. The owners were so gracious and friendly, I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!"
