"We stayed here for a week and it was close enough to main areas to walk to markets, restaurants and even the beach if you like a longer walk. Otherwise its only a short taxi ride. Its also in a good spot for exploring other parts of bali and we hired a driver to take us on day trips to Sanur, Ubud, Nusa Dua etc. We liked the family villa and it was very spacious, the staff were lovely and kind and helped in anyway they could. "Beyond our wildest dreams. Everybody was superfriendly; the location is just gorgeous; you can have a fabulous breakfast 24h a day; the restaurant is top-notch. Only issue: you cannot really walk out; you will need a ride (for free until 5pm). But once you are in, you will not really feel like leaving..."

"Great staff: always available and happy to help when needed. AC was leaking and within 10 minutes it was repaired. A tile from the pool was loose and within 10 minutes a member of the staff came and repaired it. My daughter was sick and the staff immediately offered to help with the doctor and the location of the nearest pharmacie. The villa is a bit old (18 yrs) and you can see that by the state of some details in the house. For example the hot water wasn’t running in one room, you had to wait...

Only gave a 4 star for amenities as the shower pressure was awful and not ideal at all. Had the plumber come and fix our hot water 4 seperate days but...
