"The location of this hotel is fantastic if you have a morning flight out of Stansted because you can very easily just walk to the terminal from here. My room was small but clean and well appointed. It wasn’t ready at check in time though which was frustrating. I had to wait over an hour in the lobby until it was ready. I was given a complimentary latte for my trouble which was nice. The breakfast in particular at this place was something to rave about. They even had vegetarian sausages...

"Easy access to long stay car park. Lovely restaurant now open, the supervisor in there very attentive and doesn't miss anything, giving advice to the younger members of the team. Rooms are getting ready for a revamp, and please replace the milk sachets, there are never enough and it goes all over the place."

"I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay."

"The hotel was good for £58 a night just before flying. The lady behind the desk was absolutely lovely when we checked in. The rooms were clean but they miss out on detailed cleaning but for one night, it isn’t an issue. Room was huge, we walked in and said ‘woah’! Very close to the airport, easy bus services that drop you off just outside the services. Also very close to multi different food places and they had their own separate car park from the services one."

"Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. "

"We stayed for one night in an annex. Room was comfortable and clean with a few minor niggles e.g. the lock on the bathroom. Breakfast was a good choice of cold and hot options. Worth booking in advance for a discount. Location was good, easy walk into Mildenhall where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. We would stay again if in the area."
