"Loved everything about this lodge! All the comforts of home and then some! The peaceful location was a nice reset for all of us. My daughter and I enjoyed each of the little windowed reading books and we had awesome family game nights on the screened-in back deck. The fire pit saw some s’mores on a “chilly” night as well! A family of 6 found it easy to retreat to a quiet space in the cabin. Jan is a fantastic host - always quick to respond if I had any questions."

"This lovely property checks all the boxes for a large family gathering. With tons of square footage, a well appointed kitchen and a huge deck with a firepit table, it is a rare find. We could not have been happier with this impressive house and the beautiful views of the lake and sunsets. Thanks to the gracious hosts. "

"Stayed at this wonderful house right on the Lake and in the Country Club. Fantastic area to be and so very relaxing. House is perfect for families to stay and unwind . Close to golf and resorts . Quite a few stairs to water , but they have benches along the path for people to rest and take in the views. Fun time was had by all."

"Pictures and description make it sound like there is a lake view (There isn’t any) it should be added to listing that there is no lake access from property."

"Nice rental inside the country club with access to recreational areas of the club. Great host, prompt responses and instructions. John also helped with shipping my keys I had left behind at the property during checkout. Property is as shown in the photos. Kitchen is adequately equipped.Patio in the back is big and very relaxing. Great view of the lake from front porch and upstairs bedroom. Overall a great experience and host. Would love to come back."

"Comfortable beds, plenty of room for family of 10, handicap friendly. My sister has MS and is in a wheel chair. We brought ramps to get her in the house (two steps). She was able to move around the main floor with no problems. We were so happy we were able to stay together as a family. "

"Nine high school classmates (class of 1971) had a great time at this beautifully located and well equipped property on Lake Almanor. The property owner was a delight to deal with and very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.Thank you very much!"

"It was lovely overall. We had some trouble with light switches. We never did figure out how to turn on all of the lights. That said, we had a wonderful time."

"This was our second stay, so I guess we must like it. Seems like they improved the shower since last time, so that was nice. TV was a little difficult to get up and running but we eventually managed. Only other (very minor) thing would be to flip the hinges on the refrigerator door so it opens on the other side. Everything else was just fine!"

"We love to swim in the water off the quieter side of the Lake Almanor Peninsula. The dock has umbrellas that provide shade for those who just want to sit on the dock and watch the kids play. We brought paddle boards and the water was perfect for them. The country club is quiet and peaceful and easy for walking. "Nice house, close to the rec centers to play. I didn’t know it was a tri-level which I feel like is important to know if I had crawling kids or someone who would have trouble with stairs to get to a bedroom or bathroom. For charging $200 for cleaning, the house wasn’t clean (trash under the bed, toothpaste marks on counter, exploded coke in freezer etc) when we arrived and we were in charge of bringing our own towels, removing all of our trash after the weekend and then stripping and starting...

"The local scenery is very nice. Unfortunately, the town of Greenville was destroyed by the 2021 fire and they are in the rebuilding stage. The rental unit is the downstairs half of a duplex and is neat and compact with a kitchen. The sound insulation is not great and you will hear some noise from activity above. "
