Viatges a Keasden

Lovely hotel ,staff are polite and helpful ,rooms very clean .

Room was outdated, shabby and in dire need of a thorough cleaning. Only one lamp, so dark room. A high number of switches everywhere in the room, confusing. Staff seemed to considered guests a nuisance. The only ones smiling and greeting were the cleaners. Head of staff in the Morning room cafe did a heroic effort, but the rest were rude and mixed the orders on more than occasion. Lift capacity limited. Breakfast should be served from 0700, then you expect 0700 - not 0715. Glassware and porcelain dirty.

Fab themed room to stay in, was an amazing experience. Took a while to work out how to have a warm shower rather than scolding but got there eventually. Could do with a small shelf in shower for the shower gel. Was left plenty of tea, coffee and hot choclate. Will come back again, even if it has to be next year. Very comfortable beds, very cozy and so original. In a fab location in the shambles.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel du Vin. Christina at the front desk and Adam, one of the general managers, were particularly friendly and helpful in offering suggestions of places to go, reserving taxis, and helping with luggage. Although the property does not have a lift, the staff was happy to help carry luggage. I was in a suite on the third floor, up 37 stairs, so that was very helpful!
