Peaceful condo on Molokai

Cute little condo in the center of Molokai conveniently located near town. Condo has everything you would need for a beach vacation including beach chairs and a cooler. Lanai overlooks the ocean! Nice pool that our kids enjoyed with put put golf and shuffle board. Molokai is not a tourist type of island, but we live in Oahu and wanted to explore the beauty of the untouched nature of Hawaii and Molokai is just that! This condo is centrally located so we were able to easily access both the west and east sides. Condo does not have AC, but we expected that since most places on the islands do not and I believe this is mentioned in the listing as well. There were several fans to use instead. Owner of condo was very pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. Condo is affordable and perfect for a family of 5. Things to improve on: unit needs new pillows, they were yellowed and flat with some stains. No sheets/bedding for pull out sofa, we looked in drawer labeled as such, but it was empty. We found a quilt in the bedroom closet for my son to use instead. Overhead ceiling fans did not work. Overall, a great little place to stay!

Really nice

Nice condo with all neccessities for your stay. Great location to visit both sides of the island. Calm and clean. We lacked bedsheets for the sofa upon arrival which was solved promptly. Overall great experience.

Very nice condo with even better owners. Exceptionally communicative and willing to assist where possible. Condo was clean with perfect views of Hawaiian sunsets. Great central location close to town with a walking beach park within 2 mile drive. If a condo is your preferred accommodation, you will be hard pressed to find an overall better selection on a Molokai.

Easy-peasy condo near the center of Molokai action

PIctures and descriptions are accurate. Direct location extremely near "downtown". Owner has an excellent binder at the condo with notes on the various beaches, guides, farms, etc. - make sure to check it out.

Quiet Paradise

This was a very nice condo with access to water and a pool. Short drive to town and restaurant and a full kitchen. Not at conditioned, so got a little hot trying to sleep but seems to be the norm in Molokai. Would highly recommend thus property.

Great Central Location

For our first visit to Molokai, we wanted to stay close to town, which this condo provides. The property is clean and lovely. There are grills out by the pool, and a laundromat onsite (no change machine so bring quarters). The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen, and 4 lawn chairs for waterside or to take to the beaches. There are travel toiletries (shampoo, cond, lotion, body wash) and dispensers in the shower for convenience. There are 4 beach towels. The daily view was relaxing, and any small questions we had was promptly answered by our hosts. Mahalo lui noa for a good stay!

A delightful return stay, to a welcoming condo.

Linda C and I were on Molokai for a photographic retreat. Genevieve''s condo was clean, wellequipt and cool. We ate out and cooked. This was the second time we stayed here, and we were very glad to return. Genevieve even arranged for us to meet her and her husband to get to know each other. Mahalo.

The best host ever!!

We had a wonderful stay at Molokai Shores. Genny is absolutely the best host - even offering to pick us up from the airport (we rented a car!). The unit is very convenient for getting to town and to either side of the island. We chose to stay close to town as we wanted to have access to restaurants and knew that we would have an early pickup time each day for scuba diving. We loved the view of the ocean and the beautiful sunsets right from the balcony. The apartment was very well stocked (although we didn't cook.). The internet worked fine the whole time we were there.

Hawaiian Holiday

My daughter and son-in-law and their two girls enjoyed a week in this Molokai condo over Christmas vacation. The unit is small and somewhat dated but practical and well equipped. The steps are very steep but worked for the 6 and 9 year olds who slept on twin beds in the loft. The unit has gorgeous views of the sea beyond a large manicured lawn and a refreshing pool .

Good option for Molokai

The condo was as listed. It was clean and well stocked. Communication with the owners was easy. The location was convenient. There are not a lot of options of places to stay on Molokai and Molokai Shores seems like the best option. The pool was nice and the grounds are lovely. I recommend this rental to anyone who needs a bit more space. Beach towels were provided and the beach there is protected by a sea barrier so waves are very calm. We ate most of our meals on the lanai. It was a lovely location for a meal.

Lovely Condo with a View

Genevieve was the best host we have ever had. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Her place is clean, well stocked, well maintained and very comfortable. The view from the balcony can't be beat. You can't swim at this beach so make sure to get a car and travel to nearby beaches. Mile 16 beach is a great swimming spot, and Papohaku Beach (about 15 miles to the west) is the most beautiful beach you will ever see.

Wonderful time

Property manager was very helpful. Information book in condo was filled with many sites to visit and eat. Best of all, had time to watch the sunset from balcony. Great place to stay.
