"This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. "We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu...

"The property and grounds are amazingly beautiful. This property is set back off the main road and is next to only 1 other unit which makes it private but also very relaxing. The hosts are wonderful people and gave us excellent advice on what to do and where to go and even taught us about the trees and animals. This place is absolutely the best option in this area. "

"Our villa was beautiful. Well appointed, comfortable, and as pretty as the pictures in the listing. Diego and Andrea were very responsive, and provided prompt and thorough communication. "We had an amazing stay at Morada Colibri. The property is even nicer in reality than on the pictures. If you are lucky you will be able to see wildlife in the trees around the property - we were lucky to see a family of monkeys :) There is also an outdoor gym area and the jacuzzi is huge. Andy is a great host! I would definitely stay here again!"
