You will find yourself right on the ocean and far from the highway! Sit and relax on your private lanai while watching the waves roll into Wailua beach. The view is truly spectacular. Many guests have shared stories of watching whales breach on the ocean surface for hours at a time right from the lanai.

Wailua Bay View is centrally located near Kapaa by the famous Wailua River and old Coco Palms resort where Elvis filmed 'Blue Hawaii'. It is only 10 minutes from the airport and is a perfect location to base from when sightseeing on the Garden Isle. The condo is situated directly over beautiful Wailua Beach and is only a short walk to Papaloa beach, a protected cove for babies and young children. Lydgate Park is less than a 5 minute drive which boasts the best playground on Kauai. In addition, the County of Kauai just finished a bike path that borders Wailua Bay View and stretches from Kealia Beach to Lydgate park, more than 8 miles in length.
These ground floor units are just steps from the pool and barbeque area. The private lanai is complete with railing for extra security . This makes a perfect set up for families either with or without children, with no stairs to lug up suitcases and groceries. Our condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. We also offer free wireless high speed internet, a huge brand new LCD 50 inch flat screen TV, cable TV, Netflix access, Amazon Prime Video access, unlimited telephone usage throughout the United States and Canada, a king-sized bed, a sofabed, a single futon and even a pack and play/crib for little ones.

Great condo with even better view!

The lanai is were we spent the majority of our time while in the condo. We saw the occasional turtle, surfers, fisherman, and rain showers off in the distance. Grounds are beautiful. Pool was really nice. We grilled there a couple of evenings. Grills seem fairly new and were well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, and everything worked well. The extras like ice chest, beach chairs, and an umbrella really added to our enjoyment of Lydgate Park. I would love to stay here again someday!

Nice water views and central location

We spent a week at the condo. We enjoyed the views from the lanai and ate our breakfast and dinner there most days. The condo is clean and the property itself is very well maintained. The owner of the condo was very quick to respond to any questions we had . The pool area is nice and we made use of the Bbq located by the pool. It is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Coconut Marketplace and Lava Lava beach club. There is also a good bakery across the street. It is located in a very central location for touring both the north , south and west sides of the island which we did. Kauai is a beautiful island with so much to enjoy.Mahalo.

Good Times

The location was great as well as the host. Easy walking distance to a few restaurants and shops and one of the best bakeries is right across the street. My fav was the Ube Malasada and the coffee was also yum. Thank you Passion Bakery!The only slight con was some of the road noise which didn’t bother us but might bother others. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Christmas in Kauai

Budget friendly rental with basic amenities in an excellent location. Although the bedroom has air conditioning, we found that trade winds and open windows were sufficient. The host is very accommodating and the complex is well maintained and quiet.

The apartment was quiet and relaxing. Our morning coffee on the lanai was a great start to the day. We appreciated the use of the beach chairs and towels. The kitchen was large with lots of equipment, I wish there had been a few basic food items to cook with such as cooking spray, condiments… But overall it’s a fantastic place to venture out and explore Kauai. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful spacious condo with wonderful view and sound of ocean. Plenty of room for all of and well equipped for all our cooking needs. Also came with beach chairs, cooler and boogie board. Nice clean pool on premises as well. It was a very quiet complex. We will definitely stay there again. We loved that it felt very local in Kapa’a.

GREAT Spot, better for couples

Staying at a condo with the ocean waves crashing right out your backdoor and the breeze blowing through the sliding door was alone worth it. The main bed was comfy, but the sleeper sofa was terribly uncomfortable. That's why I say it's a great fit for a couple who wouldn't need to use the sofa bed. We actually took the sleeper mattress off of the stiff metal frame and set it on the floor, which made it tolerable. Check in was a breeze, and my kids enjoyed having the pool right outside the door whenever they wanted a freshwater dip. The kitchen was well stocked, though the knives and cookware were on their last legs. The coconut marketplace was a short walk up the street, where we caught a Jiu Jitsu class and shave ice. We enjoyed many breakfasts out on the lanai. I'd stay here again, purely for the location.

Centrally located

The condo was centrally located to everything. Easy access to restaurants. We enjoyed Lava Lava to eat. The owner was available when we had TV problems. Very nice for the money spent.
