Best vacation ever

We loved our stay here at the resort. It was beautiful clean and well managed. It was great staying on the east side because we were right in the middle and could get to both the south and north sides relatively fast. Great food near by too. We loved the pool and view and stars at night and had the best trip!!

Perfect setting

The condo was beautiful and clean. The views were spectacular. Beds were super comfy. Pool was so much fun and bbq grills were great for our evening meals. Thank you for a perfect Hawaii vacation!

Nice property in kapaa

Nice resort. Beach is not really swimmable but lovely to sit on. Pool and hot tub were great. Towel service was good and it was nice to have rentals on property. Will say that unit on pool can be noisy at night. Nice restaurants close by. Otherwise terrific stay in Kapaa.

We stayed 1 week but we wish it was longer. Convenient location. Walking distance to yoga, grocery store, even Luau next door at the Sheraton. I would stay here again. So sad to leave.

The Resort was great for size, amenities and location. The beds were a bit too soft for us. We were bummed that we couldn't swim in the ocean due to the rough waves.

Sweet spot!

Great spot. Enjoyed the pool and beach options. Safeway, Starbucks, and shaved ice across the street. Good burgers at Kenji around the corner. Must rent bikes and do the Kuaui bike path. Shopping nearby. Room set up was great for our family of 6, but 2 slept on a hideabed which was roomy but not as good as a bed obviously. The lanai was awesome for sunrise watching and meals. Kitchen was great with pizza size oven and extra large fridge. Would stay again. (Room was not ready at check in but we enjoyed the pool while waiting.)

Ocean and resort view paradise

Our condo was clean and comfortable for our family of 5 now adults with 2 king sized beds and a pull out sofa. The beds were extremely comfortable, as well as the pillows. The towels were white, thick and clean. We didn't realize that there was only a starter pack of essentials. We needed to buy laundry soap, body wash and paper towels. There were no staples in the kitchen other than salt and pepper. I would have appreciated a good skillet to make eggs in and the can opener needs replacing. It took me 20 minutes to open a can of blueberries. Overall, we loved this place that was close to the beach and the pool. The air conditioning worked well and all appliances were too notch. There were tvs in each room. Safeway is conveniently located across the street, as well as a great shave ice and ice cream place. The resort restaurant was fabulous, a beautiful setting and delicious local food. It was pricey and you need advanced reservations. We wanted to eat there on Saturday and couldn't get in until Thursday. We had a wonderful time and hope to return someday.

Fantastic stay

This condo was just like the photos. Beds and pillows were comfy. Awesome views of the ocean and the pool below. Everything we needed for our stay of 9 days. Perfect location. We travelled to the north and south with ease the entire time. Safeway across the street was a plus. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. The onsite restaurant was very good as well. We even received massages at the spa located in the lobby area. We travelled with another couple and the 2 masters worked out perfectly. We utilized the washer and dryer. We both agree we would return in the future.

Only critique I can think of is the master bath has a shutter type hole in the wall, meant to open up the bathroom to the room and window so you can bathe with it open. It’s nice but when someone uses the bathroom and you are in the master you hear everything. It’s a visual barrier, but not a sound barrier. That’s all I can think of! Everything was great and I would stay here again :)

Perfect home base with all the comforts of home and a beautiful view! Awesome location close to restaurants, beaches, stores, and activities. Easy to travel to either North or South shore. Pool, slides and hot tubs are perfect for both kids and adults.

Great location within complex with amazing sunrise views.

We enjoyed our stay at this unit, which was clean, spacious & as represented in the photos. Best location within complex that gave us gorgeous views of the sunrise over the ocean right from our lanai every morning, and allowed us to scope out open seats at the pool & hot tub right below us every afternoon. We cancelled dinner reservations at Duke's on Wed. so we could sit on our lanai with drinks and listen to the most phenomenal ukulele player down at Oasis restaurant. Do not miss him on Wed! Oasis was a great option so close to the unit. Only thing unit was missing that we were expecting is basics in the kitchen such as salt, pepper, coffee filters, sugar, cling wrap for leftovers and maybe a few common spices. I know it's Covid so no left over food from prior renters, but hated to buy these expensive basics for less than 2 week stay. Hopefully they weren't thrown out for next renters. Otherwise, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great place in Kapa’a

Greta 2 bedroom condo, well appointed for the stay, had everything we needed. Pool was awesome for the kids (8 & 10), water slides provided hours of entertainment. Beach was not as friendly for swimming as others we visited and the restaurant was closed due to COVID but looked like it would have been a great hang as well. Close to lots of dining and shopping, easy access to north and south shores, both about 30 minutes away. Will come back! If I had any complaints, the pool was a bit chilly, but there were two working hot tubs, and make sure you follow resort rules and pool/slides rules, our kids got talked to regularly, because an “owner” called to complain, they were being kids. All and all, a great stay.

Always Consistent

Waipouli Resort always seems to upkeep the property and rooms to a very consistent manner so with each visit, you know what to expect regardless of which unit you reserve. The staff was pleasant and followed very strictly Covid cleanliness rules. The pool area is large enough that social distancing was never a problem. Our first 5 days, they closed the pool by 4 PM due to low occupancy, but our final 5 days it was open until 8 PM. With full A/C throughout the condo and a washer/dryer, this place has it all!
