While it served the primary purpose of providing a roof, bed, and breakfast, there were some problem areas.
THE GOOD: The hotel and room were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
THE BAD:
(1) The entry light in the room was motion-activated and would come on every time someone walked near the door/bathroom, even in the middle of the night; and there did not seem to be a way to turn this off.
(2) The shower’s water pressure was crazily low and temperature control was difficult.
(3) The sample bottles of shampoo were oddly hard to get shampoo out of.
(4) The elevator was out of service, so the upper floors could only be reached by stairs.
(5) The pool/hot tub were being painted, so were not available.
(6) There was no tea or boiled water (which we use for instant oatmeal) available at the free breakfast. There was not even water available. We ended up getting a cup, getting water from the bathroom, and heating it in the microwave.
(7) Breakfast was not maintained in an ongoing basis, and offerings would just end up depleted. When we went, there were no plates available; so we used the paper bowls for everything.
(8) The ice machine on the second floor (where we stayed) did not work, but there was ice available on the first floor.
