The pool is fantastic! The proximity to Kauffman and Arrowhead is great (just a few minutes). The check in and check out process is easy. I would recommend staying here, especially if you have a group planning on going to a game.

Booked for 2 days for family of eight adults. Pool wasn't used first day as was not clean. A pool cleaning party arrived evening of first day and finished late evening. Pool was used second day and was great.Large gap of about half inch along entry door. Door wasn't what I'd consider secure.Was a pet friendly home which was good. Didn't anticipate having to vacuum large amounts of pet hair and clean inside before unpacking. Didn't use the downstairs "game room".I wouldn't allow my family in basement do to lack of cleanliness, mildew possibility mold, exposed wiring and large spiders I noticed on floor. The home had a for sale sign in yard and had an overall appearance of something that was going through some type of renovations.

Unfortunately, this property is uninhabitable. Upon arrival, the smell of mold and mildew was overwhelming. The stairs down to the basement game room had recently had the carpet removed and there were tack strips, staples and nails sticking up. The light above the stairs did not work, so I did not go downstairs that night. We tried to air out the house, but the half of our family with allergies and health concerns found a hotel for that first night. The other half stayed and hoped the large gap around the front door would keep us secure. In the morning, I went to look at the basement. There was mold growing on multiple walls and obvious signs of water damage. The "snacks" that the host leaves for guests to purchase were piled on the floor in one room and odd amounts were stacked on shelves in another room with a price list. There were a couple outlets hanging out of the wall, one was masking taped in, tiles in the basement bathroom were taken off the wall and stacked on the back of the toilet. There was a hole in the floor with standing water in it. Exposed wiring was hovering inches above the sump pump. The pool looked okay minus some rust stains and other dark stains on the bottom, but we never got in, so I am not sure what they were and the net to clean the pool did not have a pole. We found glass and nails in the yard. I never heard back from the host and am currently disputing the charges for this house. We found another place to stay and left.

The house was not overly clean all around. Lots of DIY projects in and around the house. The basement was unusable, including all the entertainment we thought we would have when booking the house. It seems they had a recent flooding down there. It smelled not good so we didn't stay down there more than a couple minutes. The pool was good and enjoyable. Overall the pricing was high for what we got.

Definitely a hidden gem!

Truth be told, the wife was a little nervous when we were about 2 minutes out. But once we pulled in the drive, it was exactly what we'd hoped for. The pool was very well kept, as well as the rest of the house. Such a cool setup for a good time!

Chiefs/Rams game

Staying here was well worth it especially traveling with family and a baby!! Boys went to the game girls stayed at the house and chilled then shopped!! Close to the stadium and lots of restaurants and shopping! Very clean

Has something for everyone

This place is not perfect but it truly feels like you are having a fun sleep over in a vacation home of your parents. It has a game room for the gamers, a nice big comfy couch for the relaxers, a big kitchen for the cookers, a nice fireplace for the deep thinkers and everything in between. The place has some wear and tear but we did not mind. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the summer to check out the pool.

Clean and spacious

We had issues with check-in, seems like the previous tenants took the key (and they left holes in the wall behind the front door too). The owner was helpful, but we didn't like the feeling that someone had a key to the place the entire time we were there. Also, VRBO didn't give my info to the owner so there was some confusion there that led to late check-in. The beds were comfy and it was a clean and spacious home! All utensils, pool towels, soaps, etc were included too! But 2 things to know... the pool is NOT heated (or not working) and the indoor charcoal grill should not be used until the chimney is cleaned. Would recommend more outdoor seating by the pool...there are 6 beds in the house but only 2 outdoor chairs to use. It's a nice space for a large family!

Large family home

This rental was very clean and offered everything you could need. The kitchen was fully equipped. The host also provided some snacks, coffee (you'll need K cups) and tea bags. Most beds were comfy. Upon arrival we discovered the master bath sink had no water. When reported we were informed there was a leak that was discovered by the cleaning crew, apparently right before we got there (?). When asked if a repair was going to be done, I didn't get a response. We did okay without it, but was disappointed at the question not being answered. The pool area could use a couple more chairs. Birthday weekend

A very nice get away for my 30th birthday. Great location for attending the royals game! House was spacious and clean, the pool was a nice way to end the day! Check in and check out was easy! The guidance on where items were located in the house was super nice. 10/10 will stay here again when in KC area.

Good house but...

This house is a really great looking place to stay. Location is spectacular, design is good, and the space inside is massive. The kitchen and dining area is a really big highlight for this rental. But there were some minor issues observed when we were staying there: some pump would run throughout the night, the front door doesn't align so it made it difficult to lock after opening, and some of the floor felt uneven (like you are dipping into the floorboards). Overall, the location is great, and some of the issues are minor, but still noteworthy to remember for a review.

Great Place to Stay for Chiefs/Royals Games

This is an updated and cozy home with lots of room. It's an easy short drive from Arrowhead Stadium. The place was very clean. Perfect for kids too, they loved the games in basement. Definitely recommend :)
