During my recent visit, I encountered a cleaning staff member who was engaged in a personal phone call while on duty. Unfortunately, they did not acknowledge my presence or offer any form of greeting as I passed by. This lack of attentiveness created an impression of disengagement and diminished the welcoming atmosphere typically expected in a guest-facing environment.
While I understand that staff may occasionally need to take calls, it's important that guest interactions remain a priority. A simple nod or verbal acknowledgment would have gone a long way in maintaining a courteous and professional standard.
I hope this feedback helps reinforce the importance of guest engagement and professionalism among all team members.
