The space
A very unique downtown beachfront property immediately off the hwy and only steps away from city run recreation facilities, including: Rivers trail, baseball, soccer ⚽️ and rugby 🏉 fields , tennis courts 🎾, horseshoe club, live theatre, skate board park, and a dog park. Feels like a mini resort right downtown!

Between two days of snowy winter driving, we had a lovely night at this cozy, Japan-themed cabin suite, and woke up to a gorgeous view of the mountains!

The host, Keven, could not have been more helpful. The unit was clean with everything you'd need for a short stay, including access to a washer and dryer and a large TV. We loved the free water equipment and launched the canoe into the river from right out front of the apartment.

So much thought was put into the furnishings and decor--it's a really charming and comfortable pet-friendly place. The snacks that were set out were greatly appreciated after a long day's drive. We arrived after dark and left before daylight so unfortunately we didn't have a chance to enjoy the outdoor setting. Great communication with the host. Oh, and that's the coolest bathroom sink I've ever seen--great choice!

The unit had everything you could ask for! This was our second time staying in the suite & would highly recommend; it would be a delight in the warmer months wiith direct access to river activities. We wish we had booked multiple nights and stayed longer! The property was spotless, clean and recently renovated. The layout was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Our host greeted us fairly soon after we arrived. He was very friendly and informative about the area. We would definitely stay there again should the opportunity arise.

We were only there for about 12 hours due to our tight travel schedule but it was a lovely little place in an idea location with a perfect fenced yard for our dog and access to the riverside beach. The suite was lovely, super clean, and basically had everything we needed. Having a kitchen was such a plus. The only thing we could have used was a bit more elbow room; it is a small place and I felt like I was always tripping over my dog. That being said, it is a place we'd stay again as everything else was great and the host was helpful and easy to reach.

Fantastic! The best spot in Kamloops, no doubt. Right on the river, with an amazing soft sand beach, great view and very peaceful and quiet setting all on the edge of downtown and a short walk to the main park and downtown proper. You couldn’t imagine a better spot. The suite is very well appointed, with everything you need. Very comfortable. We highly recommend and will be back for sure!

A destination in itself

However long you're planning to stay, make sure you add an extra night just to enjoy this beautiful place - use the canoes/kayaks/paddleboards, cook a meal on the BBQ, take a dip in the river, or just enjoy the beach. Easy check-in with clear instructions and photos, and great communication from the experienced host. This place is very well-equipped with an induction cooktop, fridge, and microwave, and a very large washer and dryer for laundry. Can't recommend it enough.

Cozy, clean, well appointed, very comfortable, large yard, access to beach on river! Access to water toys, close to town and restaurants or kitchen and outdoor grill for home meals. Enjoyed our stay here as it was a great base for a number of trails and water falls.

Very clean and cozy

Keven’s suite is very easy to find not far from the main highway tucked down right at the river’s edge. The space is very clean and fresh and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Parking is right at the house at the top of a gently sloping driveway running the length of the house. If you bring more than one vehicle, it will need to be parked along the front street, but there is plenty of available parking.
