We had a fantastic stay here and loved the laketown vibe of the property. A unique experience that we would recommend to anyone. Very private and fun for the family. Morning were delightful and everyone enjoyed the pool. A fantastic place!

Beautiful property! A peaceful oasis out back, and wonderfully decorated inside. Quick walk to lake, and so nice to have the pool to cool off in after a hot day.

Amazing stay

Thank you so much for having us! The place is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast provided was amazing and the backyard oasis was private and peaceful. We’ll definitely stay again!

Great spot, great location

As said, great spot & great location. Close proximity to wineries but far enough that there’s distance to explore. Walking (hill) distance to the water and boat launch, and great food! Dog friendly, and fun property. Looking forward to our next stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Jordan was very helpful, and responded promptly if we had any questions. The property is beautiful and peaceful - highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay. The yard is magical with the pool, hot tub, water feature and fire table. There were many personal touches and extras including blueberry waffle mix, chocolates, eggs, etc. The house was clean and the location was perfect close to a beach and park that has pickle ball/tennis courts. We brought our dog and the yard was great for her too with grass and lots of spots to hang out. We will definitely be coming back and has the most amazing stay.

Breath Taking!

The entire place was fantastic. The back yard and overall landscaping was absolutely amazing. Loved that the owners provided local treats. Perfect place to unwind and recharge after the day touring the Okanagan. Thank you Jordan.

Okanagan paradise

A group of 6 ladies thoroughly enjoyed this home for a staycation. Plenty of space , beautiful views and great location. We went hiking, biking,, golfing and wine touring. Great kitchen to cook all our own meals. Hope to return someday Thanks.

Absolutely perfect in every way. I have never been to a vacation rental that was as great as this.

The rental was so beautiful. Pool and hot tub were clean and perfect temperature. Beds were comfortable. The fruit basket way a nice touch. Fresh eggs , milk butter, blueberries pancakes mix were delicious. Coffee was amazing. I could go on!!!! It was just PERFECT. Thank you so much.

A relaxing week in beautiful BC!

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Kaleden. The backyard and property grounds were stunning, such a tranquil place to read, rest and relax. Quick drive to wineries outside of Kaleden and a few minute drive from two wineries in Kaleden. We will be back. Would recommend !

From the moment we walked in we had a great time! The yard is gorgeous with ample room for our kids and dog to roam and play. The pool was bigger than we expected and the accommodations, although small, felt spacious. Jordan was an excellent host, and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the wonderful little things like fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedroom, a decadent chocolate bar that we all shared, and the blueberry waffle mix. The beach towels were huge and perfect for drying off after our many swims! Thanks so much for everything…we will definitely be planning another visit!

A little piece of Heaven

Wow! This was by far and away the best short term rental experience we have ever had. Not only was this property more like a resort than a home , but the hosts were incredible! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful oasis We can’t wait to come back !!!

Quiet with a beautiful pool and hot tubWe really enjoyed our stay at this property. The suite is clean, large and private and the pool and hot tub area is beautiful. It was lovely coming in to a find a well stocked fridge with milk, butter and eggs plus fresh fruit and bread on the counter.A couple of little things…we drove by the first time because we couldn’t see the house numbers and it would be really nice to have another plug in the kitchen. I only say that because I forgot to plug the ice maker back in after using the hot plate (oops).Perfect place to unwind and relax.

A Perfect Family Getaway

I will start by saying that my ideal vacation is somewhere my daughter can explore safely, my pup can relax without constantly worrying about other dogs or people and somewhere my partner and I can enjoy quality time together. So this backyard Oasis was absolutely perfect. Our stay at this 2 bedroom suite was made so effortless by the fact that this property is clearly designed with families in mind. The house had everything we could possibly have needed for myself, my partner, our 8 year old daughter and our 10 year old pup. The cleanliness was impeccable and the backyard truly was an oasis. Between the vibrant flowers and the sound of the waterfall, morning coffee and late nights down by the fire table were so peaceful. The pool was much larger than I originally anticipated but the perfect height. It wasn't too deep for our daughter to be able to swim safely but was also deep enough for her to show us 100 different versions of the same underwater cartwheel. IYKYK. We also discovered a newfound love for the game sequence and have already ordered one for home. We enjoyed a breakfast with local items provided by the host and took a walk down to the beach (there is a hill which was fine for us, just reminded me I should work out once in a while) where we got some history on the old Kaleden Hotel from 1912 which was really neat to see. We got to see a couple deer in the yard which my daughter loved and all in all we would stay again for sure. Big thank you to the host!

Weekend getaway

Although the place is advertised as a private home, it is a basement suite you have to access from the exterior of the home. That being said, it was still a private stay for our group where we did not see anyone from the upper floor and the backyard was only used by our group. The Interior was great with several thoughtful touches. Clean, comfy bedrooms and the decor was beautiful. The host provided supplies for a wonderful breakfast. This included milk, cream, butter, a loaf of bread, dozen chicken/duck eggs, waffle mix, oatmeal packets, cereals, local syrups and jams and coffee/tea. The exterior was a bit disappointing. The photos depict a well groomed backyard. The backyard was extremely overgrown with tall weeds. The pool was dirty and green for our entire stay. I understand it’s difficult to maintain a pool when there is a lot of shade and plants/trees around. However, communication from host regarding the pools state would have been nice. The lower lounge area cushions were dirty upon arrival and didn’t appear to be brushed off/cleaned before we got there. We were able to enjoy the hot tub however if you used any appliances in the kitchen while the hot tub was running the breaker would go. Overall it was a good stay. The backyard has great potential but requires maintenance and upkeep to fully enjoy the space.

Great spot for a wine weekend!

The house is big and cozy and the views are stunning! Neighbourhood is very quiet. Convenient location for wine tours, excellent restaurants, beach strolls, hiking and biking. Would definitely recommend this home.
