"The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property "

"We enjoyed our short visit in this cozy little house. It is obvious that it is owned and loved by someone, not just a rental property. Lots of nice personal touches throughout. We weren’t there for very long but had everything we needed. Lovely place. "

"Great house that easily accommodated our group of different ages and families."

"Cosy warm family home. Had everything we needed and more. Plenty to entertain the kids on a rainy afternoon..table tennis, toys, PlayStation and a stack of DVDs. Head up the road by car to explore the mountain or a short walk in to Ohakune town. We loved our stay!"

"Really nice spot in nature, clean and tidy house. David was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions.One thing would be another rental nearby so not completely secluded but we barely saw them so not a real issue at all!"

"Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. Definitely want to come back and enjoy the place more fully, including the hot tub!Sienna was fantastic to deal with.Many thanks ."

"Took our teenagers n their friends for their first mountain skiing adventure. Perfect amount of space n bed set up. Spa pool was a necessity for our cold ache bodies. "

"Had a lovley stay at Hayleys property. True to the listing its just as she describes. We had a great weekend away being able to walk for breakfast, coffee and a short drive to local other local attractions. We had a slight issue with a light switch and Hayley had an electrician on site within the hour. Highly recommend choosing this place for your next visit to Ohakune, we will be back "

"Nice place to stay for the night, -- mind your head when you are upstairs. A shame that it's not facing west to take advantage of the evening sun. Even so, very warm -- the fan was definitely needed."
