Fabulous sunsets, Dolphin & Whale watching from the large private dining lanai.

Location, location, location. We loved being able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do ... exercise, go to church, enjoy good restaurants, glass bottom boat, beautiful sunsets.

This place was just so relaxing. A quiet end unit that felt private but with enough movement to be entertaining. As others have commented, the view is unsurpassed. The one thing I was looking for was coffee on the lanai every morning. It was perfect for this midwesterner who needs to go home to snow and negatve windchills. The location is indeed just minutes away from coffee shops, restaurants, healthy smoothies, and shopping. All within a comfortable walking distance. Just perfect

A perfect stay for our family Christmas trip. Great condo with a view that is spectacular. Wake up everyday to nature’s beauty. Town is just a 5 minute walk. We loved the coffee shop’s that were so close. A must stay!!

Million dollar view and location a quick 5 minutes to restaurants and bars. The interior does not support the view and the price tag. Beds were hard, with thin worn out sheets, minimal linens and very well used pillows. Bath towels were thin and one time use only. There was starter supplies for soap and paper products. The living room furniture is outdoor patio furniture and the outdoor patio chairs-all were uncomfortable. There was beach chairs/umbrella that did come in handy. For the price I expected the interior to support the exterior view.

Overall, the condo is gorgeous and the view is phenomenal. The owners were courteous - the pillows were very thin and we only had five pillows for three beds and four people total in the house but they brought new ones right away.

We found it to be a wonderful place to stay. It did need a little corrosion maintenance but nothing serious. The unit was very clean & quiet and the view was stupendous. Will definitely be our go to if we get to Hawaii again. Clff & Clara

This condo delivered! Beautiful oceanside balcony where we had breakfast every morning; corner unit so it was quiet: well appointed for cooking at home; clean, firm beds with fans in both bedrooms. Sizable bathrooms and quiet doors - which sounds like a small thing! But if you wake up early like me, it means you can move around silently without waking up your kids ;) all in all a great stay - we loved walking downtown for coffee in the morning. I would definitely cook again.

Will be back

The unit we stayed in was very very nice. The view was spectacular, kitchen was well stocked with most things we needed. It is close to downtown, shopping and restaurants, yet far enough away from most of the nighttime noise associated with the main tourist areas. The property had a few areas that could use some updating, but the pool area was very well maintained and pleasant to spend time in. Would like to see a bit more daily maintenance in the lawn area, people left trash there that no one picked up for days. I would highly recommend this unit for a good family location.

Nice two bedroom! You can hear and see the ocean as it is right off your deck. Five minute walk to shops and restaurants. Would stay in this place again. Convenient!

The views alone are stunning. Being able to walk into town for coffee or dinner was a huge plus along with beach chairs, towels and a cooler. The condo was perfect for our week vacation and we will stay again!

Amazing Location and Beautiful Condo

It was the best! We watched whales and dolphins from our lanai in the morning while we enjoyed our breakfast. The condo was bright and comfortable and well equipped. Kona Reef offers a wonderful pool and hot tub area. A great way to relax after a day of exploring. The location is perfect - walkable to beaches, shopping, dining. It was "home sweet home" for us for two weeks! It was difficult to leave.

Wonderful place and close to town!

Our family had never visited the Big Island before and we were unsure of where to stay. The reason I booked this condo was the incredible view of the water, what we didn’t realize is how close we were to town.It was so wonderful to wake up each morning and be able to walk downtown and get coffee and breakfast my husband had the best latte of his life.Highly recommend for the family!

Awesome location! Beautiful condo!

This condo offered everything we needed. Spent most of our condo time on the lanai. The view was stellar as were the sunsets. The facility quiet hours was much appreciated. We hope to return!

8 Days in Kona

The location was perfect. The sunsets were beautiful and you could walk to shopping and resturants. It was a great home base to come back to at the end of each day when exploring the island. We didnt need the air as the breeze flows nicely through the condo. Pool area is great as well. The beds are a little hard and could use a mattress topper.
