  • Lovely ground floor 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit. Great golf course view. New flat screen 68" TV and DVD player in the living room, as well as a 42" flat screen TV and A/C in the bedroom. Free calling to US, Canada, Guam and Puerto Rico. Free wifi Renovated bathroom with walk in shower. Fully equipped kitchen. Free parking located close by. All linens and towels are provided.

    Welcome to Kuilima Estates, the condo property located on the grounds of world-renowned Turtle Bay. The condos are surrounded by two beautifully manicured golf courses, and are the only condos on the North Shore. This is a great place to relax, rewind, and restore, and a world away form the hustle and bustle of the city. The condo property is short walk to the hotel and to a lovely, sheltered, coved beach, where you can swim, snorkel, and surf. We have our pools, with lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and charcoal BBQ grills. Bring your own equipment and play tennis on our courts at no charge. Experience the comforts of home as you experience aloha!
    Since we are in a tropical environment, it is common to see insects and geckos in the condos. No amount of spraying will completely eliminate insects, especially ants.**

Great spot. Nice and quiet with easy access to the beaches and walking trails. I was very excited to discover Kawela Bay. Highly recommend to check out some sea turtles away from some of the crowds. Easy to get in and out of and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great experience.

Beautiful view, great location however the Condo needed a good cleaning. Property wasn’t real dirty just not particularly clean. Considerable mold on shower grout. Departed early because of roaches.

safe, clean and comfortable!

The unit worked very well for me and my husband.I loved the breezes coming through the from the patio and he appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom. If we had any questions, the property manager was very helpful and friendly. The easy access to the stores and beaches at Turtle Bay resort was an extra bonus. I also appreciated that 10 pm -8am quiet time that was expected of guests.

Reviewer Comments: We hade made reservations with a Airbnb vacation rental company for 4 nights, and when we arrived the rental was not as advertised, not clean, and not safe. So I reached out to Kuilima Estates for the remaining 3 nights, they were very friendly, and extremely helpful in finding us accommodations on very short notice and we hade a great time - very nice place. Thank you for saving our vacation.

Reviewer Comments: adequate facilities. comfortable bed & sofa bed. good number of towels. also w/d was key!had some trouble checking in, as the front door combo was not what was originally communicated. thankfully, a security guard was able to connect with management and get us in the unit. whew!however, the unit was clearly dated, with lots of dings and nicks, and worn items. also, each day, we happened to find one dead cockroach. one by the dining table, one under media console, one under the a/c, one in kitchen :(

Reviewer Comments: Good location, parking not too far away, but the unit itself was very basic with just the "required" necessities. There was a regular drip coffeemaker but no coffee for even the first day. There was a mini bar of soap in the bathroom; sink was newer and nice. In the kitchen, a mini bottle of dish soap & a wet dish sponge laying inside the sink--I wasn't sure if the sponge was what the previous guests used to wash their dishes with, or if the cleaners used it to clean the sink so I used very hot water and soap to wash it out before using it for our dishes. Suggestions: a new, unopened dish sponge, a little coffee, and bedroom curtains that filter out the outdoor building lighting. We were not in the unit much since we were in a golf tournament with a group so it provided an adequate place to sleep and shower.

We had a great time in the North Shore area. The Kuilima Estates at Turtle Bay was a very clean, nice, and quiet area. The condo itself was clean upon arrival and convenient to all locations we visited. The only mishap we had was that we weren't able to connect to WiFi, which was very minor compared to all the great things we did in the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an amazing place to stay. Like mentioned in other reviews, this condo is a little older and is maybe less updated. That being said, it was the perfect rental. It was very clean! (Especailly in all the places you REALLY want clean. ex. the bedding, inside of fridge, and bathroom)It had all the needed amenities including stove, fridge, coffee maker, dishes, and AIR CONDITIONER in the bedroom. It had cable t.v. and internet. The closets were stocked with extra blankets,pillows and towels, as well as ironing boards, laundry detergent, toilet paper and basic cleaning items. The area was very quiet and beautiful. The pool was close by, and the resort was very welcoming. It was a quick walk to the beach and to the resort, where we were welcome to eat at the bar and watch the sunset. The resort has one of the most beautiful beaches, and we went to all of them. We will be staying here again with out a doubt and sending all our family and friends there. This is the way to vacation, away from the traffic and crowds of Waikiki or Honolulu. Although communication with property management was minimal and only through e-mail and key drop off, they were very helpful and ready to assist with anything.

We had no hot water for several hours which needed to be fixed while we were there. We killed 4 cockroaches in the bedroom, the fridge door was covered in rust, the bathroom needed serious updating.,,,the toilet didn't flush properly and the shower valve was ready to break. We feel that all of these things should have been addressed before putting the unit into a rental situation.

Great Stay at Turtle Bay!

Reviewer Comments: Condo was very nice...Right along the gjolf course with great view...Was NOT happy with the $100.00 cleaning fee, especially when we were TOLD to make certain we ran the vacum, and clean the condo BEFORE WE wife would have done that anyway, but the only thing left for the cleaning staff was to put the towels in the dryer...Had a great stay...Would do it all over fact, we tried on seven occasions to call the management company to see if there were any condos for sale that we could look at, but all we kept geting was a recording...Other than, the two concerns, we had a absolute super time and would reommend Turtle Bay to everyone who does NOT want the crazy downtown Honolulu lifestyle all night...This was my 29th trip to Hawaii,and we always stayed at the Outrigger...Nice, but what an awesome, peaceful get-away at Turtle Bay...Hope to do it again next summer...Mike Sandifar, MBB Coach, Oakland City University

A quiet retreat

We love it because we can walk to the beach, lots of hiking and biking paths, a close drive to many amazing beaches and to the historic surf town Haleiwa. There are two championship golf courses for those who like to golf and a very reasonable 5 dollars for a buck of balls and use of the driving range. Taco Tuesday at Surfers the bar in the hotel is a must.
