"ホテルの送迎無料。事前にメールで連絡しておいた。部屋のエアコンが不調だったので、広いデラックスルーム（ダブルベッドとシングルベッド）に替えてくれた。 ラバウルのツアーの手配をしてもらった。9～16時、戦跡地を回った。785キナ。1キナは36円。入場料と昼食代込み。2人以上だとかなり安くなる。絵葉書やワイン小瓶を買うスーパーマーケットや切手を買う郵便局にも立ち寄ってもらった。昼食は見晴らしの良い丘の上でサンドイッチ、果物、水。ゆっくり丁寧に回ってもらった。パプア・ニューギニアの暮らしぶりなども、教えてくれた。片言の英語力でも心地良い。 1階のレストランは朝6時から無料の朝食。パンと果物（バナナやスイカ、パイナップルなど）、オレンジジュース、コーヒー、紅茶のコンチネンタル。昼食はメニュー豊富。量もある。48キナ。ビールも数種 類、置いてある12キナ前後。 ..."
