BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to weather, heavy surf, strong currents, and tides. Due to Maui's rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don't kill them. Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Family Getaway

This property was ideal for our family of 4. It was only steps from the pool or a short walking distance from Whalers and Public Beach Access. It was well maintained. Beds were comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Condo - Very Large and in Great Condition. Loved the view!

Fantastic unit, complex and vacation rental. Highly recommend! Communications with the property manager were excellent. The condo is very large, with plenty of room to spread out. Very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Note that the onsite complex office is not open on weekends, so you may need to wait until a weekday to pay the additional parking fee. Gated entry, plenty of parking and well kept grounds. A/C works great, cooler and chairs in the outside storage closet, and all the starter items you need. Very quiet complex, while we were there. The strip mall just around the corner has a great little coffee shop, general store, snorkel store (very helpful people to rent equipment from), urgent care center, and pizza place, among other offerings. Easy walk to the beach and Whaler's Village. Pictures do a good job of depicting the unit, with the exception of the view - which is even better in person (of the beautiful grounds, pool and even a bit of the ocean)! Note, we were a bit concerned about the lack of recent reviews - hopefully this one gets posted and alleviates any similar concerns. Great unit!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay! It was spotless, beds were comfortable, great location and just a short walk to the beach, well appointed and plenty of room for our family of six. We really enjoyed dinners on the large patio watching the sunset and being so close to the pool. When we reached out to Coconut Condos for a few items they immediately responded and had the items in our place within hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Find!

Clean, well stocked condo with beach chairs and an incredible lanai. Location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants, without being too busy. Beds were comfortable. Primary bedroom and bath were awesome! We would stay there again.

Great Stay, minor glitches

We loved our stay here. The condo is right by the pool which our kids loved. It is a bit of a hike to the beach, a little bit over a half a mile if you follow the cart path. It’s not bad at all and definitely was worth the savings plus we loved having our own kitchen and the parking was very close and easy to get in and out of. We had a slight maintenance issue with the guest shower, which the part was not available on the island so I was offered a small credit. Those things happen, and I wouldn’t judge this property by that experience. I would recommend this location and property to anyone looking for a space to accommodate kids, parking to get in and out for activities across the island and with access to a pool and grill all near the beach. And its walking distance to a number of beach restaurants and shops at Whalers Village.

Wonderful Maui Condo!

We really enjoyed our recent stay with our granddaughter. This property met or exceeded all our expectations! The location was perfect…quiet, yet close enough to walk to Kanaapali beach and Whaler’s Village restaurants. Loved the outdoor lanai and roominess of the condo. If you’re looking for a perfect Maui retreat we highly recommend this unit!

Perfect getaway

Our family stayed at Kaanapali Royal for two weeks end of Jan-early Feb 2022 and we loved this unit! Being able to walk out and play with the kids in the yard or pop by the pool easily was a huge bonus. We really enjoyed having the sunshine on the lanai in the afternoon. In terms of amenities, it had everything we were looking for. The walk to the Whaler’s Village/Kaanapali beach was doable but pretty long for the kids as cutting across the golf course is prohibited. It would have been nice to have our own BBQ on the lanai but the poolside BBQs were in excellent condition. We would definitely come back!

Fantastic property, will stay again

This condo is spacious with high ceilings and is generous in size. We were 2 couples staying in this clean, well appointed and updated condo. 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms is a rare find on Maui and we certainly enjoyed the layout. Great Lanai and you are steps to the great pool/spa/BBQ area. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we are on Maui.

Great Place

Condo exactly as described. Pool and hot tub right out the door. The location is in the resort area of Kaanapali near the Waler's Village shopping area and hotels. You can walk to the beach or shopping (maybe a 12 minutes walk) or there is a free trolley that comes by every 30 minutes or so. Plenty of room and very clean. Highly recommend.

Perfect

To start- Cheri was overly generous with us after rescheduling 3 times due to Covid. She would always refund my money until we found the right time to come here. Cant thank her enough. As for the unit, it’s EXACTLY as described. It was perfect for our family. We have three teenage girls and the pullout in the living room was fine for one of them. The living area is very large and the bed was out all week. Never got in our way. The walk around the golf course to get to the beach is the only thing that we weren’t found of but we also knew going in it was a 10 min walk. However we weren’t spending every day on this beach so it was worth being here. The pool isn’t giant by any means but it was NEVER crowded. Again we weren’t sitting around a pool all day but it was nice to go out there after a days activity. There’s a hot tub too. This place was absolutely perfect for my family of five. Laundry, kitchen, plenty of towels, 4 beach chairs, etc, etc made our vacation very pleasant. Highly recommend!

Perfect place and location

Everything was great, location to Kaanapali beach was a 10 minute walk, pool was right outside the back lanai and driving distance to other nearby tourist spots (like downtown Lahaina) were close by. Condo was decorated nicely, beds were comfortable and furniture for seating was perfect (also nice large flat screen TV in living room). Only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a grill on the back patio lanai (only had 1 grill at the pool working due to Covid so had to wait to grill when someone was using it). No worries though since your on Hawaii time :) Cheri was great in responding quickly when needed. Thank you for letting us share your wonderful home for 8 days! Mahalo.
