"If you're not a fan of the smell of weed, you'll probably not be too happy here. Everywhere smells like weed. I didn't care that much because I was gone 14 hours a day, but a family with kids might care. The staff is nice. I won't publicly name three outstanding staff, but K and B are just the best people. You know who you are, and thank you for being a bright spot at the end of the end. The air conditioner was broken in my room. To their credit, a maintenance person was up to have a look at it...

Just felt like an old construction with a few makeovers. "

"VRBO was cancelled day of arrival due to raccoon problem so had to stay here for a VB tournament as hotel options were limited. Overpriced. Room was clean but stains on carpet. Breakfast was “ok” would have preferred no breakfast with a cheaper room rate especially since it didn’t open until 7 on weekends and most sport teams have to be at venue to play before then. Location was good. A few great restaurants and cool used book store walking distance. Housekeepers were great. "

"Stayed at the Aida in Kansas City and honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. The space is HUGE. my room felt more like a full suite than a standard hotel room. What really stood out was the design: everything was thoughtfully curated, with a mix of vintage pieces and antique-style decor that gave the whole place a lot of character without feeling overdone. "Our room was clean, but the door lock didn't work in room 419, only the latch at the top. We didn't have breakfast but the snacks at the front had plenty of options. The bar service was great, and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Excellent service!! I would come back for another stay!"
