"Pros The hotel was clean, organized and welcoming. The location was the best part. Right next to the zoo, balboa park, and walking distance to restaurants. I liked the room separation for bedtime. Cons: Parking - it wasn’t clearly stated in posting that it would be $50 a night for self park and $70 for valet. The drive way for self park is intense. It is a very tight and windy path. "At first after traveling it's not the usual check in that we are all accustomed to, but once tht was out of the way, I loved everything about this hotel. This was a solo trip for a tattoo and the location is prime. Other than the tattoo I've spent most my time on Coronado island because it's so close, but instead of paying thousands of dollars I paid hundreds.
