Beachfront 4 bedroom home directly on the Mira River

The home features two spacious primary bedrooms located at opposite ends of the cottage, offering guests plenty of privacy. There is also a bedroom with bunk beds and a smaller fourth bedroom with a double bed.

The photos show the entire home. Although it may appear to have two separate sections, it is one building connected by an interior hallway, and guests have the entire cottage to themselves.

In the left wing of the cottage:
Bedroom #1: This spacious primary suite features a queen bed, sofa bed, walk-in closet, 50-inch TV, work desk/table, and a three-piece ensuite with a shower.

At the opposite end of the cottage, on the upper level:
•Bedroom #2: Located next to Bedroom #3, this room features bunk beds.
•Bedroom #3: This spacious primary bedroom features a king-size bed, 50-inch TV, work desk, and private balcony.
•Main Bathroom: Located near Bedrooms #2 and #3, the main bathroom features a large glass-enclosed shower and a jetted bathtub.

On the main level:
•Bedroom #4: This smaller bedroom features a double bed.
•A powder room.
•A laundry room for your convenience.
•A fully equipped kitchen that opens into the inviting living room, which features a wood-burning fireplace.
•A large dining table.
•A 50-inch TV.

Outdoor:
The true jewel of the property is its incredible outdoor living space. Guests can enjoy a large deck, lounge chairs, an outdoor dining table, a private dock and beach, a children’s playset, and plenty of open space for lawn games and family fun.

We are thrilled to offer our guests the use of two kayaks for exploring the beauty of the Mira River. Kayaks are used at your own risk, and life jackets must be always worn while kayaking. Adult life jackets are provided; however, for your comfort and safety, we recommend bringing your own.

We also provide a selection of indoor and outdoor toys for children.

Our cottage is a wonderful winter getaway! The large outdoor firepit beside the deck is perfect for cozy winter fires. Indoor entertainment includes board games, a Nintendo system, a DVD player, and three 50-inch TVs—including a newly added TV on the main level that is not yet shown in the photos. Of course, guests can also settle in and relax beside the indoor wood-burning fireplace.

We are located within a short drive of downtown Sydney and the Port of Sydney, Two Rivers Wildlife Park, Mira Gut Beach, the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, Louisbourg Lighthouse, Kennington Cove Beach, Ben Eoin Golf Course and Ski Resort, and many other Cape Breton attractions.
