  • Lote privado, arbolado, de un acre frente al mar con vistas excepcionales de la bahía de Auke y el monte Chilikat. Rango. Ubicado a 11 millas del centro de Juneau, a 3 millas del aeropuerto y a 3 millas de la terminal del ferry. A poca distancia de la Universidad de Alaska, Chapel By the Lake y Auke Bay Harbor con alquiler de kayak, excursiones de observación de ballenas y excursiones de pesca deportiva.     El espacio
    A través de la entrada privada, ingrese a la sala familiar con un área de comedor completa con microondas, mini refrigerador, cafetera y agua caliente instantánea. Hay una variedad de café, té, sidra y chocolate caliente. El refrigerador está abastecido con agua, crema, jugo, queso, leche y yogurt. Se proporciona una variedad de cereales y productos horneados. En la sala familiar hay una mesa de comedor, sillas, dos cómodos sillones reclinables y un gran televisor de pantalla plana. Las cajas de libros contienen muchos libros de Alaska para su disfrute durante su estancia. Al final de un día ajetreado, relájese y disfrute de la comodidad de las sábanas de bambú en Eagle o Raven Suite. La Suite Eagle es de 200 pies cuadrados, tiene una cama queen size, baño de 78 pies cuadrados con bañera y duchas dobles. Hay un área de lectura y un televisor de pantalla plana. La Raven Suite es de 130 pies cuadrados y tiene una cama queen size, TV de pantalla plana y baño privado con ducha y cabezal de ducha doble. La calefacción por suelo radiante te ayudará a mantenerte cómodo. Todas las sábanas se lavan con detergente antialérgico. What an amazing place to stay when in the Juneau area. The view is incredible, and the breakfasts are wonderful. John is a great host. Will definitely stay here again if we ever get back!

A lovely stay in comfortable surroundings, with a beautiful view! John’s breakfasts were something to look forward to, and the family raved about the tour of the fish (salmon) hatchery that he gave them. We would definitely stay here again, John was a wonderful and helpful host.

We stayed here as a family of six for one night and had a fabulous time. The space is homey and very comfortable. Jean George was a font of knowledge and made us feel very welcome. We also appreciated him accommodating an early check-in.

John was a gracious host. Walk out to an amazing view, fire pit, whales / seals right out front and eagles. Comfy beds, living room furniture could use update but I really loved the place and host! Breakfast was a nice touch! Thank you so much for your hospitality John!!!!

Memorable lodging over Memorial Day Week!

We really enjoyed our stay at Eagle’s Watch Bed & Breakfast! Not only did we sleep soundly & had lovely different gourmet breakfasts each morning, but we also watched whales breaching and blowing different mornings, and a pair of eagles to watch in a nearby tree! John was an amazing host…lovely place; delicious food; wonderful sleep! We will definitely come back to stay again!

John was a wonderful host and we enjoyed our stay. He made sure we had all the comforts of home, coffee, chocolates for smores and home baked cookies. The property was easy to find and a great location just outside of the Juneau traffic. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the Bald Eagles and sea birds. The view was amazing and the firepit was an excellent touch! Thank you John for a great stay!

John was a wonderful host. Friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts and homemade cookies he provided each day were a treat. The water view is gorgeous. And the location was perfect for us, two retired couples. We spent 4 nights. We originally booked with a VRBO in town. When that host cancelled on us, it was a blessing. We discovered we could book John’s lovely place and a rental car for less than the cost of our original booking in town. We learned quickly, to do as the locals do-to avoid over-crowded downtown full of tourist from multiple humongous cruise coming and going daily. One-half day in town was interesting, but enough for us. Stay at Eagles Bay, and enjoy the beautiful setting and close proximity Auke Bay, Mendenhall Glacier, go whale watching. Grocery stores are convenient as well.

Just what we needed!

Great location. Great view. Chatty host. Nice to have a freshly cooked breakfast on our time served in the unit. Rotting salmon and noisy seagulls added to the marine atmosphere! And the weather couldn’t have been nicer.

We had 4 nights at Eagles Watch and our host John, was awesome. Not only a wealth of information, but a great cook who served us daily breakfast along with sharing stories and information about Juneau. The number of eagles who graced us with their daily presence was incredible. A cozy, comfortable, clean place that was the perfect first part of our Alaskan journey. Thank you John for everything!! We hope to be back!!

B&B and owner will be hard to top

The place had a view post card worthy. The porch with the little fire pit made winding down in the evening easy. The owner is an amazing cook and host. Each breakfast for our picky group was innovatively delicious. John George shared with us his Alaskan adventures and was a true ambassador for all things Juneau Alaska. His place and his personal touch made our trip that much more perfect.

Exceptional

John greeted us when we arrived. He is very likable and knowledgeable. He made breakfast every morning and they were outstanding. John was one of the best parts of our stay. However, the lakeside view of the mountains could not have been more beautiful and the location lives up to its name because we saw several bald eagles fly close to us.

Absolutely Wonderful

Our 8 days in Juneau were made comfortable and informative by our host John. The great things about the house are it is clean and comfortable and has the most fantastic view, which can even be enjoyed in the rain because its covered. John is an excellent chef and made sure our breakfast was unique everyday, he even made a birthday cake for one of the ladies in our party. John also provided us with a tour of the salmon hatchery. Highly recommend, and can't wait to go back.

Alaskan Perfection

Amazing location on Auke Bay with beautiful views of the harbour. The place was immaculate and John was an amazing host. Our every need was cartered to and he was a wealth of information about Juneau and Alaska. He even served as our guide to the Hatchery and picked us up at the airport as we arrived after the car rental was closed. Cant recommend Eagles Watch highly enough.

Most accommodating and friendly host!!!

John’s property is everything that was described in the reviews. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning and getting to know John was a wonderful experience. John is very knowledgeable about the Juneau area and we enjoyed getting to know him. We will recommend his Bed and Breakfast to everyone. Thank you John for your wonderful hospitality and we all enjoyed our conversations with you. If we ever go back to Juneau we wouldn’t stay any where else.

Beautiful view

Property is a special place. Quiet beautiful view of Auke Bay. John has the property filled with thoughtful touches. He went above and beyond to help us with our frozen fish. We also really enjoyed his cookies and breakfasts and S’mores at night. Everything is clean and well maintained. We would love to return.

Perfect property with a perfect view

Both bedrooms have an incredible view of the bay. Birds and the soothing sound of the waves are the background sounds from the patio, while you decide which time of day offers the most breathtaking view. John catered to our group and we enjoyed his property immensely. Breakfast the next morning was the topper and we wished we didn’t have to leave. If we ever return to Juneau for more than a day trip his listing will be the first I investigate, and we’d plan our activities around it’s availability for booking as anywhere else will surely be a disappointment.
