"I think lake view lodge is the most significant lodge in Lee Vining with its history and the beautiful setting among other hotel/motels. Really loved the garden on site and Basin cafe, we stayed one night, and had dinner breakfast and lunch at Basin cafe the food is huge quantity with good quality. We will come back if visit Lee Vining again !"

"The property was under reconstruction. Supplies were visible everywhere,!The hotel didn't even have its name visible so it was hard to confirm the address. The entrance was terrible from the access to the pavement. The parking garage was uncomfortable, again, with construction supplies. The room had a weird smell, and there is visible water damage throughout the hotel. Roof panels were removed, and pipes were visible. More construction supplies were inside the rooms. "Our stay at Sierra House was great. We were visiting over the July 4th holiday and stayed in their new buildings. The forest view was stunning from the top floor and the rooms were brand new, clean and very tastefully decorated.
