"In the summer, this place is probably great as the other reviews have indicated. However, I would strongly recommend not staying here in the winter. The temperature fluctuated too much to be comfortable, the lighting is glaring blue fluorescent overheads with no bedroom lamps in either room. The bed was made with a top sheet and a summer quilt with no extra blankets in the building. When we asked for more blankets, the owner brought one old throw blanket for our family of five. "Had an absolute great time. The property is very beautiful. Cabin is really cozy, however the bed situation needs some work. The bed in the basement is in a room in the basement with nothing in the room beside a bed and old basement smell. All the mattresses in the cabin are in extremely rough shape. Not a good sleeping experience. Lots of rules about where you can and can't go, put a vehicle, if you mess up a bed but don't sleep in it incurs fees, you have to bring your own firewood. Etc. just...

"The best thing about this place is it is pet friendly.Maybe this place is new to renters but the lack of kitchen supplies forced us to buy them while there. I mean things you would expect; drinking glasses, mixing bowl, measuring cups. Nothing. Also the water in this rental is not fit for your pets. If you rent it be sure to bring a lot of bottled water. Another issue is the heat. They use a natural gas burning unit and it is not vented out of the house. We had to purchase a carbon monoxide...
