HIDDEN OASIS 30 min from Red Lodge Montana

Entire Apartment- three bedrooms with a loft overlooking the great room and kitchen. Completely renovated store from 1901. Has a modern feel yet is a cozy peaceful getaway located in the small, sweet town of Joliet, MT.

It's located 30 minutes from Red Lodge and Billings, about 2 hours to Yellowstone National Park, and just over an hour to Cody WY.

Less than 5 min walk to the city park, fishing, pizza place, grocery store, church, gift store, ice cream shop, gas station, and local bar.
The space
Beautiful open great room and kitchen with a loft overhead with two twin beds (3rd bedroom). The first floor has a walk-in shower, washer/ dryer, and bedroom with a queen bed and two smart TVs . We tried to make it as handicap accessible as possible. Upstairs past the loft with standard size twin beds is a full bath with tub and a bedroom with a queen bed and desk. We have two low beams upstairs that could be inconvenient for any over 6ft 2in.
Other things to note
To get to the Apartment, you have to go around to the back of the Main Str buildings. The front half of the building is a lovely gift store with ice cream and the back half is the Airbnb. They are completely separate with entrances on either side.
The building was renovated from a 1901 store and has some low beams in the upstairs bedroom and another low beam as you come down the stairs. If you are taller than 6 ft 2 inches, this may be an inconvenience.
We also have one outdoor camera.

Modern Oasis Behind the Gates

Walking through the arched gateway into a hidden courtyard felt like discovering a secret oasis—and opening the door to the bright, open home was pure “wow.” Our group of four adults found everything we needed—comfy living spaces, a fully stocked kitchen (complete with a dedicated teapot and tea selection!), and easy laundry. Hosts communicated promptly, and checkout was seamless.Tip: There are two wooden entry gates—double-check you’re using the correct one to unlock this hidden gem—and extra towels are tucked under the sink vanities.

Wonderful stay - highly recommended!

We have stayed in many short-term rentals around the world, and this is definitely one of our favorites. We stayed here during our annual family reunion. Everything about the experience was great. Heather and Jesse were very communicative. The instructions were clear and helpful. For us, the location was perfect. Joliet is a very cute little town. It has recently been totally re-done. It was just the right size for the two of us and our daughter. All the amenities are new. The kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances worked great. We didn’t use the barbecue but it was nice to have it available. The beds were extremely comfortable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. It was very quiet – it is close to the main route, but we did not hear any road noise. We can’t wait to stay there again! Thanks Heather & Jesse!

Beautiful inside furnishing. Such a treat

The rental was fantastic and well done inside. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Not much curb appeal but once inside it’s magnificent.

Great Hosts

The property is very clean and comfortable. It is also very bright and welcoming. There were books and magazines for the kids as well as the adults and lots of fun toys for the kids too. The kitchen is fully equipped. Every thing is new and up to date. The bathrooms are very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would most likely book this property again if we find ourselves in Joliet, Mt again. Thank you Jesse and Holly for your hospitality! :)

Enjoyed our Stay

The Hidden Oasis met my family’s needs for our short visit to Joliet. It is clean and nicely remodeled. The title of the property is fitting as you enter through an alley, but the private fenced courtyard was replete with ripe cherry tomato which we enjoyed.

Nice little gem in Joliet!

This rennovated home was just what we needed to explore Red Lodge and surrounding areas. I lucked out that everything was booked in RL- because I found this. The house had seriously everything we needed, normally there is always something missing, but they thought of everything. We may be back as we are getting a house finished and need a place to stay :)
