"We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. "Left stranded outside the hotel after staff forgot to leave keys, after confirming directly with the hotel manager that we would be arriving late. We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. I called earlier in the day to confirm, and they gave me the lockbox location and code, but upon arrival by taxi (after midnight) there were no keys in the box, leaving us alone outside with no car. I’ve requested a refund from the hotel but they have not responded - I...

"Staff were nice, room was ok, mattress was somewhat soft. Bathroom ok, quite large but walk in shower a bit small, with rubber seal starting to detach itself. Sink was a little small, and the bathroon window had some mould. Location is very good, a short walk to the town centre and sea front, but parking a bit of a pain, not a lot available"
