Villa Solo for 6 people.

As soon as you enter villa Solo (6 persons) you will taste the Caribbean atmosphere. Villa Solo is one of 3 Villas of Villas Vista Royal. You will immediately feel at home thanks to the very spacious living room, open kitchen and bar, followed by a large terrace. The open rear facade provides 1 living space where the living room, kitchen, porch with dining table and Caribbean garden with lovely swimming pool flow beautifully into each other! The sultry evenings are a treat in this area with the tropical palms which are beautifully lit.

The stylish furniture is adapted to the atmosphere of the house. With cheerful music and a cocktail in hand, you can dream away on a lounger or cabana.
The 3 bedrooms of Villa Solo have air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The beds are extra large for a wonderful night's sleep (210 x 180cm).

The beautiful and famous Jan Thiel Beach is within walking distance of the villas. On this beach you can relax while enjoying a cold cocktail. You can also dive, snorkel and enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evening. The city center of Willemstad can be reached within a 15-minute drive and the famous Mambo Beach is only a 10-minute drive away.

For stays longer than 7 nights, an intermediate cleaning is required (€ 100), which will be deducted from the deposit. Electricity is included up to 40kWh consumption per day, see rental agreement.

Wonderful week away from Winter

The property was actually better than advertised, and perfect to accommodate our group of 3 retired but active couples. Our greeter was extremely warm, courteous and insightful. Not only about the property but also the neighborhood amenities. Jan Thiel beach is an extremely short walk away (less than 5 minutes) also provides activities such as catamaran tours, scooter rides and other interesting options walk

Fantastisch!

In één woord geweldig! Hier zouden we wel voor altijd willen wonen. Er is aan alles gedacht, koffertje met zwemkleding mee en de rest kun je thuis laten. Van speelgoed voor het zwembad tot genoeg handoeken en servies. Je kunt het zo gek niet bedenken of het is aanwezig en ook nog eens super schoon.

Bijzondere kerst

Een prachtig, goed verzorgde villa. Op loopafstand van het strand, beach horeca en een kleine supermarkt. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en alles verkeert in prima staat. Een top locatie om onder totaal andere omstandigheden even te relaxen.

Absolutely beautiful property. We stayed in the SOLO villa, which was a 3 bedroom home. The place was gorgeous, private pool that was delightful. Very useful kitchen, easy walking distance to everything in Jan Thiel which has great restaurants, a spa (not great massage, but in their defense, had opened the day prior), shopping, beach (VERY crowded). But a fantastic place to stay. I agree with the review who said we could use more electricty alotment. Apparently, electricity is very expensive on the island, so the owners limit usage per day - which essentially allows you to run very needed air-conditioning in the bedrooms at night, but made us anxious all day about other usage. We were very careful, and still went over by 10 euros only. Definitely could use an overhead fan in the main area. Was very hot and buggy, but that is the Island's fault, not the Villa. I would absolutely go back!

Paradise in Jan Thiel

This was our second time to Curacao and definitely not our last! Our first visit had us staying on Mangrove Beach at Hotel Corendon which was a good time despite a Hurricane (October 2022). This visit was a family visit so we opted for a VRBO and let me tell you - this place does NOT miss! It's perfect! Close to a grocery store if you want to walk (but we'd suggest a car to see the rest of the island). The pictures really don't do the place justice - 3 bedrooms, several bathrooms, perfect pool for both swimmers and non-swimmers and a secluded quaint neighborhood. While most of our dinners were downtown so a car was needed, you can absolutely cook (and we did) here as well. Equipped with a grill, pool floats, full kitchen, etc. it was perfect. We had 4 people total in our party but you can easily fit another 2 with no issue. Communication with both Axel and their House Manager Marieke was seamless and they were super helpful. Just note that you have a limit on electricity which is pretty typical in the area and it's plenty for our party. We will be back!

Amazing Vacation!!!

This villa was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! It was perfectly clean (and I'm picky), had every amenity you can think of (even a pump for our pool floaties), and the location was perfect! Our kids loved the pool and swam day and night. Having the Jan Thiel beach, restaurants and supermarket in walking distance was a bonus. Axel and Marieke were fabulous kind hosts and communication with them was always great. Curacao is a beautiful island with friendly people, we would love to visit again sometime!

Great family vacation

We spent 3 weeks at Villa Solo - great house, location, and amenities! The bedrooms, with their own ensuite bathrooms, provided our group with plenty of space. The open- concept living room, dining, and kitchen are furnished comfortably and open out to an inviting outdoor living space and nicely sized pool for our group of 5. We used the bbq several times during our stay. The house provided everything that we needed in order to make some of our meals at home. Easy walking distance to grocery store and beach (5-10 minutes). Communication with Marieke, the house manager, was great - she always got back to us quickly if we had questions. One of the best rentals we have had in Curacao - would highly recommend! We will definitely be going back !

Absolutely perfect!

Everything about the villa was on point - perfect location, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, full kitchen ammenities, pool, and superb welcome and help from the property manager, Marieke. And Axel was great about answering questions between booking and our arrival. We loved being walking distance to the grocery store, beach, and restaurants, and felt that we had everything we needed, and more. When I asked my family if they would have preferred a resort, they all said that the villa completely exceeded their expectations, and they appreciated having private space that a resort doesn't offer. Thank you for such an incredible experience.

Great place to stay

Villa solo was a great place to stay - located in a convenient and safe location. The house was well stocked and comfortable. The pool area offered a great spot to relaxed with plenty of privacy. If ever back in the area, I would not hesitate to stay again!

Wonderful house in a great area

The house was wonderful, comfortable for our family of six, the kitchen had everything we needed and the pool - outdoor area was perfect to relax at. The supermarket is down the street, five minute walk and the beach is there too. Location was very convenient, we did a bike tour around the area and found lots of great spots to bike, hike and small beach areas. The host was very helpful and easy to reach. When we come back to Curacao, I will definitely check if the house is available - would love to stay here again.

This house was truly something out of a magazine. Bathrooms in every room to include a hallway guest bathroom. The bedrooms were spacious with beds as comfortable as clouds! Will definitely be back!

Prachtige villa op een top locatie!

Villa Solo is absoluut een prachtige villa met alles wat je nodig hebt binnen handbereik. 3 ruime slaapkamers en elke een ruime badkamer. Bij ontvangst stonden de eerste koude drankjes al voorgekoeld in de koelkast, maakt het net weer even helemaal af. Het zwembad is heerlijk en de buitenruimte groot genoeg om heerlijk heel de dag in en rondom de villa te verblijven. De villa ligt in een rustige wijk en op loopafstand van de supermarkt en het strand, ideaal om een dagdeel aan het zwembad te liggen en een dagdeel naar het strand te gaan. Tot slot super en snel contact, echt een aangename service! Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Loved This Villa and Location!!

Arriving at Villa Solo, we knew that the house was going to be even better than we had hoped. The house is accurately represented in all photos and the layout was ideal, immaculate, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our host Axel was always very responsive and always a pleasure to deal with. The same can be said for the local property manager Marieke who was waiting for us when we arrived and provided excellent service and support. The area is growing and has many new beautiful houses being constructed nearby. Amenities are first rate. The Villa is fully equipped and with the exception of not having a clothes dryer you have virtually every modern appliance including Nespresso machine. If you don’t stay by the pool, it’s a 5 minute walk to the Papagayo beach club and all of the local restaurants, sports facilities, fitness club, shops and beach. Private gated parking and excellent security makes the area safe at all hours. We would definitely want to come back here again! Thank you Axel!!

Helemaal top!

Wat een geweldig fijne villa! Wij hebben genoten van het eiland maar ook van ons tijdelijke thuis. Het voldeed meer dan volledig aan onze verwachting. Fantastische villa met alle faciliteiten en service aanwezig

Top villa mooi luxe uitgevoerd op een prachtige locatie. Geweldige service van Marieke en Paul. Tevens zie je dat deze villa met liefde voor gastvrijheid is gebouwd en word verhuurd, beheerd. Voor ons als gezin krijgt de villa een dikke 10.

Schitterende villa

Fantastische ervaring, kan niets bedenken waardoor dit verblijf minder dan 5* waard zou zijn; de villa is prachtig, van alle gemakken voorzien en is zéér schoon en goed onderhouden. Ook een groot compliment aan het beheer; toen een rolluik het (op zondag!) begaf stond er binnen het halfuur de beheerster Marieke met een klusjesman op de stoep die het probleem direct verhielp. Echt tóp! De vraag is niet óf wij terugkomen maar wanneer!
