"Everything was great except for the food. The room, amenities, spa, grounds are all amazing. Exceeded our expectations. Food wasn’t great. Over cooked every meal. And it seemed like they water down the drinks. But other than that great!"

"The room and property were beautiful. The sat nav in the vehicle didnt take me to where the house was (thats the vehicle though, phone GPS got me there after turning on data) friendly staff, but be aware it is a country home, fellow arachnaphobics, i sadly discovered a rather imposing false widow in my room upon my return at 1am. Otherwise, it was lovely, i wish i couldve stayed longer to enjoy it but that sent me packing. "

"The property was in a perfect place on the beach, quiet and luxurious on the inside. The pool and jaccuzi were a nice addition, both very warm. Great for a family as we had two kids and they had thier own bed. We had a king size. Best sleep in a hotel. Had a nespresso machine for coffee in the room, which is a nice touch. "Very gorgeous property, great service from the front desk, room and bathroom were clean and updated. Only bad thing was how warm the room got at night without A/C, a small fan, and a window that did not open too much making it hard to sleep. Other than that, had a great experience!"

"Staying at Ballyvolane was like being in an Irish historical novel. It was amazing in every aspect: food, bed comfort, and especially the staff. They made us feel so welcome. We would recommend Ballyvolane to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful manor house!"

"The property is excellent. 5 Stars!!! The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats.
