"This is a good property. It is just outside the city near water (not the main river, a side creek. It's a quiet community with plenty of amenities. Check in was easy, it took just a few seconds to get the door unlocked (keypad) but once you did it it was easy. Alana, my host, was attentive and responsive. "This studio apartment was just what I needed for my trip. I was able to work here during the day in peace, and go out to see friends at night. "The space was ideal for our family of four and my sister-in-law. I enjoyed a jog around the property, appreciating the marina and ponds. For 12, our family purchased a day pass at the clubhouse with access to the outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and workout facilities. We love New Bern and this property's quick access to "town" was a perfect fit for our visit."

"This is a great place to stay if you're in the area. It is conveniently located just off base, so you get to see a lot of cool planes flying around throughout the day. The entire place was very clean and looked like it had been recently redone. The host is super responsive and very nice. Having access to laundry was a big plus, and they even provide some great board games and extra towels. Overall it was a great stay and we'll definitely stay here again when we come back to the area."

"Sailors Choice was the perfect place for our extended weekend stay in Oriental for the Cycle North Carolina event. Steve and Sarah were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked. It is on the Blackwell marina and about a mile away from "downtown " Oriental. We plan to return in the future."
