I loved staying at Vista Guapa! Our bungalow was cozy and had AC, there were sweet dogs on the property, and the hospitality was awesome. I can't wait to go back again!

La mejor vista de Jaco

Desde la habitacion tuvimos el mejor atardecer de Jacó. El lugar me encantó, super limpio, bien cuidado, la atención fue buenísima. Definitivamente es una muy buena opción de hospedaje

Vista Guapa is the place you want to stay if you plan to learn to surf and rest and a great time in Jacó. The breakfast is delicious, the facilities are clean and excellent, and the staff will always make you feel at home. I loved Costa Rica, and because I picked this place to stay, it was probably one of the best vacation in my life!

This property was beautiful, immaculate, and in the best location! The host, Candice, was such an awesome person! She took us to dinner and showed us around and even let us borrow her bicycles to check out a really cool private’s beach. This place is a rare find and Candice makes it even better! I will be back! Gorgeous views!

Très bon accueil , Un couple très agréable qui met tout en œuvre pour que ôter séjour soit agréable. Mr surfeur propose ses services de coach , Petit dej typique , et jus de fruits frais. The property itself is on a large hillside away from the main Jaco commercial areas. The main office is at ground level, but the bungalows are up a very steep climb. There is a one-lane driveway going up/down to the bungalows. We were wondering what happens when two cars meet and one needs to back up/down the steep and windy driveway, but luckily that never happened to us. The room itself is actually half of the bungalow. Very spacious and clean, and there are amenities like full-sized bottles of Raw Botanicals shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There is also a fire pit with fire wood at each bungalow if you want to do a camp fire after dark. We thought about it but then didn't because we stayed there during dry season when the grass was super crispy. There was no obvious water hose or other way to stop a fire on the lawn if a spark escaped the fire pit. What sells it is the view. You get an incredible view of the surrounding landscape. It's technically ocean view, but is not close enough to the ocean to get a good scenic view. You can see water on the horizon and you can see the back of the large and tall hotel that now blocks part of the ocean view. Overall, it was a lovely one-night stay. We would stay here again if we ever return to this area of Costa Rica.

Best place in Jaco!

Thrilled that I switched my hotel in Jaco and found this place. I wanted something clean and off the main street. It has everything I love about a hotel stay. Room was really clean and very comfortable and had the most beautiful view. The staff made me a gorgeous healthy breakfast to order everyday. I lounged by the pool which was clean and peaceful. The hotel owner, Alex was really helpful and great to talk too. Highly recommend this place!

Paradise

I would call this place a piece of paradise nestled in the mountain overlooking the lush forest of Costa Rica with a view of the ocean in the horizon The bungalows are in tiers on the mountain and the only negative is if you don't have a car and don't like exercising your gluteus trekking up the hillside to reach your place otherwise I would stay there again. The rooms are clean and white with a gorgeous view and hammocks to lay and watch the sunrise in the morning or sunset in the evening. WIFI is a bit sketchy in the rooms but great in the common areas. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and in abundance. The pool was nice and we didn't have to share it with anyone; no putting towels out to safe your chair; it was absolutely the most relaxing part of the vacation

Nettes Camp an schöner Lage

Für einen Aufenthalt in Jaco empfehlen wir das Vista Guapa Surf Camp gerne weiter. Das Camp liegt wenige Minuten ausserhalb des Orts auf einem Hügel und ist einfach zu finden und zu erreichen – nur die letzten Meter vom Hauptgebäude hinauf auf den Hügel sind etwas steil. Manager Alex und die Angestellten sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns dort sehr willkommen. Besonders zu erwähnen gilt es das leckere Frühstück (im Preis inbegriffen)!

I'd go back!

Surfing in Costa Rica is legendary. But I'd never been there. I'm glad I decided to stay at Vista Guapa. They were super-helpful with advice on where to surf based upon my description of my surfing ability. I rented boards in Jaco Beach and surfed on my own. I also set up at time to go with David, a pro and get a lesson (good price and good advice). I'd go back!

Parfait service et localisation

Nous avons passé une nuit en famille dans cet établissement et avons profité d'un cours particulier de surf. Tout est parfaitement organisé pour vous, les bungalows sont propres et très agréables, vous êtes tout proche de Jaco pour sortir le soir où aller sur les spots. Tout le staff et patron sont à votre écoute, la structure est petite et laisse un excellent souvenir "relax"

Peaceful and beautiful location

I loved this little hotel/bungalows from the first site we arrived. Beautiful Location peaceful, great views , quiet but yet 3-4 minutes drive from the beautiful Jaco beach , you get best of both worlds here, if you want a nice quiet day reading or sleeping you can stay relax in the comfy hammock or at the pool or go surfing and swimming in town and explore great little restaurants and sightseeing. Our room was extremely clean, cleaning stuff was doing 5 star job! Overall everyone was super nice. Towels always fresh and restocked. They provide different towels at the pool also. Breakfast yummy made to order. I cannot say enough kind words about Alex, very nice guy, will do everything to make your stay comfortable. Surfing instructors were awesome we had David and Joshua, great guys fun and helpful. My daughter actually took few lessons and was quite good by the time we left for the city girl ,even my husband and I tried and it was so much fun! P. S. If you are fainting on the site of a gecko or an ant you should probably go to Iceland and not Costa Rica,just a friendly note .

A really fabulous place to stay. Great views from your accommodation. Great breakfast. Superb host. You don't have to be a surfer to stay her but you may be one when you leave. There's no pressure on you doing anything you don't want to do so don't let that phase you. Just awesome in every way.
