Amazing Beach House!

My family, friends and I had a wonderful time in this Jaco beach house. The location was perfect for our surfers and all the rooms were fantastic! Attached bathrooms for all but one room provided a luxury that can't be understated.The large, well stocked kitchen and super long dinning table made cooking and eating meals a joy. The daily cleaner made cleanup easy. The nightly security guard was incredibly helpful and friendly. I would recommend this house to anyone travelling to the Jaco area and would love to return.

An Awesome Place to Stay in Costa Rica

The house is beautiful and well maintained. The staff greatly exceeded our expectations. They were courteous, patient, and helpful. Most spoke better english than we do spanish. They were more than eager to attend to any need or request we had. The location on the beach in Jayco is gorgeous. Easy to get to yet secure. Tons of trips/excursions close by which the staff most professionally coordinated for us. The chef prepared meals were delicious! Our family experienced a vacation we will long remember!

Pura Vida

There were 10 of us that stayed on the property. The location is amazing. The boys all loved their surf lessons with Cali he was out in front of the house daily. There’s a spot up the beach you can rent boogie boards or book a fishing excursion. The property manager helped arrange our trip to the monkey mangrove tour (a must do)and set up our zip lining trip. The hike up to El Miro was incredible. This was an amazing trip! Pablo and Marta are amazing staff that are on site daily. Thank you Jen and Mike this is a trip we will never forget.

Amazing family home

If anything, the photos don’t do this home and its location justice. The beach is literally right outside the gates, and the views from most rooms in the house are amazing. We stayed here after a cruise from Panama, and the location was perfect. Jen and Fabian, the property managers, helped us set up everything, from the shuttles to and from the airport, to the baby cribs and helping us get groceries and arrange tours. I didn’t know enough about Costa Rica to even know what we were looking for, and this was a lucky find! We all loved our stay here. I highly recommend Joya Del Pacifica!

Pleased with Accommodations

House was great for our family. Good staff with housekeeper and security. Rated 4 stars due to non operating dishwasher. We wound up doing dishes most nights as we did not want to leave them overnight for housekeeper next day. Concerned about attracting pests.

Phenomenal Property

The location is fantastic. The property is amazing and beautiful. We were well taken care of by security and housekeeping which are there ALL the time. There was a slight communication issue, but that is on us not speaking Spanish. Google translate works wonders. The room air conditioners truly work. We have been in tropical locations where it never really gets cool (or even cold). Not, here. Outside is hot and humid, but room temperatures are great. The main master bedroom is the size of a small apartment. There is plenty of room in this location. We could not recommend this property more!

Family Vacation

Everything was very easy from start to finish. The house easily accommodated 8 adults and 9 kids, aged 20 mos to 14yrs The staff was excellent, especially Marte, the housekeeper, who always smiled . Communication was excellent. Location was perfect. Having 15 horses ride right up to the house from the beach, for an afternoon of riding, was awesome. Travel logistics were amazing and easy. So much to do. This is a lifetime memory made possible by such an outstanding venue.

Great Place for A Reunion with Friends

Great property right on the beach

Perfect place for our large family with separate suite and large rooms in the main house. In a quiet corner at the end of the beach with easy access to the ocean and other amenities. Helpful staff and security for safety. Would stay again if back in the area. Thanks for having us!

Jaco Beach Property

Every step of the way the Vrbo app was easy to use and communicate with the property manager. Making payments through the app was simple with a credit card. The staff, Palo, our night security guard a true gentleman. He was respectful of our privacy as well as keeping us all safe while we slept. Marta our house maid is such a sweet lady. Marta does an excellent job of keeping the beach towels fresh, your personal laundry cleaned and dried, rooms made up daily if you want and all the common areas squeaky clean. Tigar is the surf school instructor and works for the property manager. Tigar is great he was our local guide! Having lived in Jaco for the last thirty years he knows everyone any everything about Jaco. If you need or want anything just ask Tigar! My family loved all the staff, including the chefs, so we invited them all to share our meals and adopted them all into our family. If fishing is what you want, captain Roberto and deck hand Alex on the Fish Bones launch on the beach in front of the house an off you go. They put fish in the box!! We had plenty of Bonita and Hamachi sashimi as well as fried and baked red snapper. We hired chef Diego and Melbe to cook our meals and it was amazing!! You tell chef want you want for breakfast lunch and dinner. He and his staff do all the shopping, prep, cook and clean up after each meal. Absolutely worth it!! At the end of each day the chef shows you the grocery receipts and the total for the chef services and you pay in dollars or colenes. Be sure to bring cash with you. The banks and ATMs have very strange rules and limits on what you can withdraw per day. With all that said our family made life long memories and friends while staying in Jaco. We will be back. It really is Pura Vida, the good life!!

Best Vacation Ever

Jen and all of the crew were amazing. Mar(housekeeper) and Pablo (security guard) were always there to help with anything we needed! Diego(chef) came to the house and cooked the best meals!!! Fabian(property manager) booked all excursions & transportation. We were spoiled this whole week! I can’t thank Jen and the crew enough! This is a definite MUST book! We were truly spoiled this whole vacation !!

Family Gathering in Costa Rica

This beautiful property right on the south end of the beach in Jaco is immaculately maintained and provides many excellent features to make your vacation stay unique and enjoyable. The lovely covered patio overlooking the ocean, the sun deck, the pool which although small has a very fun waterfall feature, and the ability to literally walk out of the gate and be on the beach are all fantastic. Our group was made up of my four siblings and spouses (ages 56 to 73) and although we are veterans of VRBO locations across the US, this was our first time internationally. It was also our first time with a housekeeper, security guard, and access to a chef for meals if desired--these were luxuries that were greatly appreciated!! Jen, the property manager we worked with mainly, was fantastic! She helped us with making all of our transportation arrangements, both to and from the airport and for local sightseeing trips, and worked with Chef Diego to plan a first-morning brunch and last-evening dinner which were both incredible. Marta and Pablo, the housekeeper and night guard, were always willing to assist with locating a cab, ordering from a restaurant, suggestions for stores or finding ATM's to replenish our CASH needs for excursions, etc. Some notes for future guests: The surf here makes for a great intro to surfing, but if you are looking for white sandy beaches, this is not it. Unexpectedly made up of volcanic silt, the surface created a muddy mess after each high tide so we never actually went to sit out on the beach. We were surprised by the level of security (gated enclosures, high fences, guards) both at the property and in nearby Jaco--we felt safe but are not used to operating in that kind of environment--perhaps just our novice status in travelling to CR. And finally, as stated in the property description, the kitchen and living room area are not air conditioned, so be prepared for humid, warm conditions outside of your bedrooms (which are cooled.) None of these items kept our time at Joya del Pacifico from being an amazing and memorable time together! Pura Vida!

Best Location, Very spacious

This place was much better than we imagined. The location is the absolute best. You walk to the beach. And the beach is one of the best beaches I have ever seen; warm water, shallow sand beach—the perfect place for our family to get their first surfing lessons. The property manager arranged for all of our activities. that was another added benefit. You can talk to him when you check-in, and he can arrange everything for you. I recommend hiring Chef Diego for private dining. He is a top-notch chef. Communication with the owner and property manager was seamless. we also had daily, on demand cleaning which was great.

Beautiful home in good location.

The house is beautiful and the location (to the beach) is unbeatable. Bedrooms are luxurious & comfortable and kept clean by the staff. The owners were fabulous in helping us to get excursions booked and made great recommendations for restaurants and places to see. It was fun to go out and walk on the beach each morning. I was very happy with the trip. Note for those with large groups that there isn't a whole lot of parking (maybe 3 cars +/- ?) and the house is adjacent to Hwy 34 (which gets a lot of traffic - but much of Jaco is situated along there as well). The bedrooms are kept cool; however, the main (common area) is not airconditioned, so if someone has a hard time with the humidity & heat then keep that in mind. The home is adjacent to Club Del Mar - a Great Place to eat, whenever you feel like dining out! We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this home and its owners.

Amazing

The house was great, the owners were thoughtful and helpful and patient with all our questions, the staff onsite was so helpful, the tours were fun, the ocean was incredible—we had the best time. Highly recommend the monkey tour, and the ATV tour. And really really recommend having the chefs/cooks come prepare meals for your group - it allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves and the food was amazing. Ask Marta to help you spot the sloth that lives on the property! We had a group of 7 and all 7 of us had the time of our lives.

Waterfront Escape

Joya del Pacifica is the perfect house for large groups. It has an amazing ability to sleep 14 comfortably, yet with an unusual amount of privacy. Plus there are multiple areas outside where one can find a quiet place to read, etc. Only inches away, the ocean provides a steady soundtrack keeping any stress at bay. The staff is wonderful, and spoiled us rotten. Marta, Pablo and Fabian took care of every detail happily. Jen and Mike Wycocki are a pleasure to work with. Our gang was all ages and sizes but everyone totally enjoyed themselves, and loved their stays.

The Whole Enchilada!!

Perfect House! Perfect view! Perfect soft sandy beach right out the back gate! We could not have asked for a more perfect house and location for our whole family to fall in love with Costa🌴Rica🐒. Our family was 9 in all (2-Parents, 5-Adult Sons & Daughters and 2-young Grandsons) but house can easily accommodate more. The staff, housekeeping and security were phenomenal!! They are eager to help in any way possible!! Brush up on your Spanish and get a Translator app before you go to make life a little easier. Cali, their local surf instructor is Amazing! He’s fabulous with kids! We all Loved him! Our grandsons (ages: 5 & 7) got up on boards right away and surfed for hours!! The Property Manager was very accommodating!! He booked our tours; Monkey Tour and Fishing Tour, along with transportation, and our magnificent massages!! So nice that we got them twice!! The Only critique: all porcelain tile floors (normal for tropics) throughout the house, showers, patio and lanai are extremely slippery. We had several falls - one concussion - No joke - You have to be extremely careful. We took a vote and it is our Favorite Family Vacation by far!! Can’t wait to go back!!!
